Kenny Rogers was truly a great entertainer . His songs will b remembered forever. Especially the gambler and his duo with dolly. Islands in the stream. I was shocked at his death seemed so sudden. He will b greatly missed. God rest his soul
I love Kenny Rodgers he had an amazing voice his grave is beautiful that cemetery has had some work done since I last saw a video of kennys grave even if it is just grass cut looks million times better rip Kenny you'll forever be sweet music man
Remember the chain of fried chicken restaurants he owned back in the ninties! The slogan was " its the wood that makes it good" my mother in law had a crush on him! Rest in peace, kenny!
I wonder why the family chose to not have any inscription on the base of the memorial to Kenny. No birth or death years or reference to son or brother or whatever? That's strange.
No matter how much you spend on your plaque or grave site, it won't get you into Heaven. All it says to the public is look at me!!! I am richer than you are. Very sad indeed.

So get over it yourself for fox sakes! Besides their's something to be said. About flaunting your money (asses) in other people's faces.... Just because you have more of it then most folks. Isn't gonna' get you into heaven. Any quicker then anyone else. And you'd do well to remember that and to worry about your own soul as well buster!
@roymichaeldeanable I couldn't agree more! What a sad and little Cemetery. It's so neglected! It's really kind of eerie. I guess they don't like to hire any grounds keepers.
There were plots. But no Graves. There are no more plots for sale by the Cemetery, but there is one company that conducts and plans the services and they have a list of all plots and can contact those owners to see if they would sell a plot for a grave site
@sparkystours I couldn't agree more and I'm not sorry. It's tacky as hell and fugly! What was he thinking? Especially with what is written on those arches: "Will the circle be unbroken." Is that like a dare? Molly Brown once commented that the Titanic was unsinkable and look what happened then? It would only take one strong measure of a tornado/hurricane and that grave of his would be gone! Along with the rest of them.
I don't think this was Kenny's idea....I believe he would have been happy with something simple. This is nice but is not a good look in this cemetery 😢....yuck....
Thats why they are normal people. Because they dont have a million dollars. Remember we are in a society thats separated by tax brackets. If you arent in the top tax bracket youre just a common person.
Now thats is what a celebrity gravesite should look like. I’ve seen some very famous ones where it’s just a plain set down stone on the ground. I guess…to each it’s own. 🤷🏻♀️
And personally, I dislike ostentatious graves. Death is the great equalizer. No matter how elaborate the tomb, how expensive the marble and granite, the person beneath it all is humbled and silent. I think a simple marker says "Here I rest", and not "Hey! Look at me! See how important I think I was?"
Really? You think it's beautiful? No offense but that Cemetery is pitiful. When was the last time anyone planted some grass seeds? And no flowers either? Whose guarding the place? Satan? I guess money can't buy you love. Because that place is the epitome of death and loneliness. How sad!
The Cherokee believe you hang around for about 2 years then you go where you're suppose to go. So, why bother visiting they're not there. It's only for the living. But, they have a decoration day, I think it's in May. This was taken in the winter. It's why it looks so dead.
