My heavens! YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL! Your spirit is so calming and I wish I could explain how excited I get when you post new videos! In a way, you're kind of like a sort of "therapy" for me, reminding me to be grateful for even the smallest of things! Thank you ❤️
25:17 I’ve been watching your channel regularly and wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your videos. I feel very calm when I spend time with you on RU-vid. I hope this doesn’t sound weird but I feel like I have so many things in common with you. I was a professional photographer at one time in my life but gave it up after some struggles with my health. I love crocheting, gardening, thrifting and my best Beagle friend Chaz. Just like you I love beautiful things and nature. Thank you for sharing your life and work. I cried when I saw how emotional you got when you put your dad’s photo in the frame. Lost my dad recently and just like you I still cry. Can’t tell you how inspiring it is to watch your journey. Thank you! ☺️
Awesome vlog. I love many of the same things: Nature walks, beautiful skies, thrift store treasures, quilts, art, books, plants & slow-paced, contemplative living. Thanks for letting us be part of Charlie's & your poetical life journey. ❤😊❤
Hi Kate…What a fantastic RU-vid channel you have.. I am a new subscriber and absolutely love it.. I just spent the last 2 weeks watching all your videos and I was overwhelmed with so many emotions. You capture such beautiful pictures and drone footage that I really get lost in the scene and feel like I am there. I relate to the topics you bring up as challenges in your life so it is nice to hear what strategies you use to cope. I am a huge animal lover so watching Charlie and all his antics brings a huge smile to my face. Your recipes for food and homemade oils etc are giving me inspiration to cook again. I live in Canada so wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the surprise goodies package that you offer in your Patreon…I guess the shipping is too expensive! I also like to paint so am impressed with your art work. Now that I am all caught up on your videos I anxiously await the next one. So pleased I found your channel..you are a breath of fresh air and I love your authenticity.🙏💕
Wonderful, thank you so much for sharing with us. I took my pup to Dog School this morning, went shopping for some new toys for her and her big sister. Tomorrow I plan to spend time in nature. I had a cheque through as a return on tax from my old car for £45 and plan to treat myself to a thrift store spree, coffee and cake some time soon 🙏 💛💚🩵🐾☘️🌿🍃🌼🐾🩵💚💛xx
I thoroughly enjoy you sharing your life, and I just love Charlie! What amazes me is your gratitude for our beautiful Mama Earth and your sharing of the little gems you discover along the way. Also, thanks for taking us along on your fun thrifting stops! Blessings and love to you and Charlie!
Because of watching your videos, I've become far more aware of nature. We live across the street from a creek and at the end of every walk, I lean on the railing over the creek and watch the water ripple along over rocks. I also make sure I tune in so that i can hear the soft sound of the water. It's very calming.
The musical thread was just perfect and so calming... I like the way you interject nature in and throughout the video. Thank You for sharing... Continued Blessings!
Another wonderful blog, loved the picture of your Dad in the gorgeous frame. Charlie and the Dandelions was hilarious, I thoroughly enjoyed your blog. Have a great weekend. XX
Thank you Kate, for sharing this story, the pics of you and in nature are beautiful. The one of you by the waterfall was amazing. I love the way you find beaty in less than perfect things. The pic of your Dad in that sweet frame was touching. Cheers to you and your Dear Little Charlie. Lizzie from Oz.❤🌻
I really enjoy your videos & adorable Charlie. The ballerina picture looks great over your stove. Love the vibe. My condolence on the passing of your beloved father. The picture of him with your previous dog in the vintage frame is a really nice one. I miss my father too.
Thanks for sharing your lovely few days with us. Thrifting is one of my favorite things to do to recharge and like you, I am being a lot more strategic with my purchases, which just allows me to be able to do it more often.
Thank you for this video🥰💖🙏🫂So many "small" joys and treats in the everyday if we are open to them... Books, flowers, thrifting😉the moon, sipping tea or coffee from a favorite mug,the perfect dress, art, food, laughter, hugs, friends, the sound of rain when you are cozy inside... Sending you warm hugs from Sweden
I Absolutely loved what you mailed out for this month!!! You included your flower art, Charlie, and photography to get us started- all wrapped so pretty! You are so very talented and creative. Thank you!!!!!
You and little Charlie brighten every day. We have sun at last this morning, in West Devon, England, and I was up at 5.00am and out of the door walking Madge at 5.15am. The birds were singing the dawn chorus, and two owls were hooting to each other. I am so lucky that I am surrounded by nature from my front door. I have no passing traffic where my little house is, and the country road at the bottom of the private lane I live on, hardly has any traffic using it. You had a very busy few days, and I hope that you can relax now with little Charlie in your home, with your lovely little garden. Love and hugs from Jilly & Madge, the rescue greyhound. xxx
Nature definitely makes my heart very happy! I just love seeing your thrift store visits, and walks in nature, Kate! I used to live in Arlington, VA a lifetime ago (like before you were born!) and here in Canada I just had hail today after a light snowfall this morning! But my garlic is growing fast nevertheless. Ah the craziness of nature. That Arlington park was just gorgeous with all the blossoms on the tree, and dandelions! This weekend I'm painting and going to a performance of a very popular Canadian singer in a very small local venue. The sun has just come out! Yay! I look forward to spring busting out, but the biting bugs in my rural community are just awful so I'm happy for it to stay cold for a lot longer! The days are mostly fairly mild, though. Wishing you and King Charles a happy and playful week.
Thank you for another wonderful video. So calming and relaxing and anyone knows the way you love Charlie. You would always keep him safe no matter where you are. Have a blessed day my friend love from me and Otis, Massachusetts.
Oh, your seedlings have sprouted! :-) I LOVE all of the nature pictures! The picture of you standing by the falls in the black outfit - stunning!!!! I SOOOO LOOOOVE your cottage!!! I second the comment below where someone says that probably a lot of us wish we were your neighbor. They would be correct!
Thank you for another wonderful video, its so relaxing to watch ! I love your photo frame, and it made me think of the Japanese art of making something even more beautiful when it's broken, I think it's called kitsugi? They see the broken objects' faults and celebrate them by highlighting the repair. I don't think you could find a better way to celebrate that little frame than by putting a picture of your father in it. I think that was very special. Have a lovely weekend! ☺️
Oh, I love that! It's such a lovely form of art ... and a wonderful thing to think about whenever we feel a bit broken. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!❤❤❤
Your a beautiful soul love all your videos and little Charlie he makes me laugh such a cutie oh wow a piano ..bless you I still cry too looking at my dad's picture 😢.💕🌻🌸🎻🎵
I just love all your videos, I actually wait anxously for your next one all the time.. I'm hooked, but please don't leave Charlie in the car. i know you're a very careful and loving pet Mom, but weather tends to change it can get too hot in there, or yes someone could try to steal him, it's just too risky, he's got a piece of our hearts already and I just want you both safe. Please take him with you in his little carrier. Because of you, I'm thinking of takng my little cat inside a carrier on my walks with me. she's such a lovie, and also on alternating days I'm going to take my little Dachshund. too. God bless you and Charlie and thank you for your lovely videos.
I am SO glad your video came in my feed. I live in Upstate and know a few of the places you stopped. Thank you for sharing, we need reminders to stop and take in the beauty.
I live right across the street from a beautiful park in my city. Many people who get married in my city go to this park to take wedding pictures. It's always fun to see this happening. I really love all the spots you stopped to take pictures in. My favorite spot that you stopped at was the waterfall!
I love seeing your Charlie with his friend ,playing. Your Op shops (thrift) are enormous. Haha . So much to look through , which is half the fun. I'm drawn to faded , imperfect pieces or frames too. No wonder Charlie loved those dandelions , they are fun and pretty. What gorgeous nature therapy you have available. I love that family photo shoot , it does look gentle and a little wild but right in a busy spot. Enjoy your Spring lovely and thank you for sharing some beautiful days in your life with us ❤❤
At 2:43 I almost dove through the screen for that beautiful art of the horse in the large gold ornate matted frame. It was gorgeous!!! I saw so many pretty things. I don't have luck with clothes, but I love art, baskets, frames, candles, glassware, and textiles. Mostly I love the nature and sky and water views. I wish I lived near such beauty to be able to access it everyday. Love the new art piece in the kitchen.
Kate this video brought me so much joy. The combination of your nature walks, thrifting, little Charlie being an imp, lol! I loved it all. The great deal on your sprouts! How awesome was that. It was meant for you because you have so much love for nature. The universe provided. ☺️ The pic you put up is perfect for that spot. It is indeed an oldie but goody. Of course what you did with your dad’s picture frame shows your creativity once again. He was so handsome and had a beautiful kind looking face. You are obviously like him. He’s looking down with approval of his girl I’m sure. Thanks again for the calm feeling I get from each time I watch your videos and as always I look forward to your next one….Lisa 🤗🙏💓
What a beautiful video bring me joy to see someone like Mother Nature like me I have my respect for the beautiful land I love the frame you find the perfect spot have a beautiful weekend and thank you for sharing your video 🤗🦋🪴☀️
Aw, dear Kate, I welled up in tears when you did. Tears honor our ancestors. Sending you a big warm hug. I'll be spending the weekend in the garden, planting. As with you, nature is my best ally for healing and inner wellness. xo
🥲 Being in those thrift stores with you felt nostalgic, beautiful, and sad for the gone by days; along with some fine folks that are no longer with us. I see your smile on your father’s face. What a kind sweet face he had / has. 🥰
Thank you for sharing more of yours a d Charlie’s adventures. Your videos evoke a true sense of peace. I just lost my dad at age 94 and 1/2 years old in February. I understand your feelings. He is always with you.🥰
Peace be with you. 🙏 my 97 year old mum passed away 02.24.2024, she was with my brother at his house so not alone. Lived a good life to the end was able to take care of herself and in her own home. I lived on the other side of the states so didn’t see her much. My brother was close by and took her shopping and appts, she was remarkable. I pray you have so memories to comfort you.
You have great thrift control. Me not so much but getting better. Can never get enough of Charlie. ❤ My Chi has such a different personality. She's a love bug but Charlue has soon much spunk.❤ My dad's favorite flowers were dandelions. We put them on his headstone. In Alaska just growing a lawn is a challenge but the wildflowers are so amazing. I think you would love the scenery here on this beautiful island. I enjoy yours for sure.❤
My heart felt your tears for your dad, it’s been 3 years since I lost my mum and a sneaky tear still comes now and then when I think of her. I think it’s because all that love we had for them, now has no where to go so it comes out as tears, sometimes happy sometimes sad but always with love. ❤️
lovely video I love your little charlie have you done a photo shoot with him? he makes me chuckle and uplifts my spirits dogs are the best medicine by far sending well wishes from the uk
I love that painting! I would have snatched it up too! And I love your videos so much! My sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad and Bella. I hope sweet memories will soften your grief and give you joy when you think of them.
I love watching your videos! That Charlie is so precious… makes me laugh… I have a little puppy too, he’s 15 years old now… the thrift shops in your area are so nice! I wish we had them here in So. Texas… take care!
I love watching you and your puppy, he's so cute, your cottage is sooo cool in other words I thoroughly enjoy your channel You're such a sweet and beautiful young lady May God bless you and your fur-baby 🙏🏻❤️🦮
Thank you so much for sharing your days with us. You're an inspiration to get out in nature and also to enjoy some thrifting therapy. Watching your vlogs makes me so happy. Thanks from Wellington, New Zealand.
Yesterday I made me a dandelion salad and brought some of the yellow flowers and it made me dinner line tea it was good and something different I just put a very little of honey in my dandelion salad because some of the dandelions were older and kind of bitter and I could not believe how well delicious it was
