You could maybe call the local unemployment office and ask if there is someone to fix that. Even if you put up a notice at the grocery store, someone might be interested in earning a few bucks, but they should be house builders. Please be safe though, or ask around, for a recommendation. Some retired people still can practice their skills and are still strong. I hope you find someone soon too.❤

I am in the same boat... we haven't had a wash or a hot water heater for 6 months..husband canbarely walk...no money for replacement, and the last storm damaged my roof a bit...it really stinks....😢

Just then heads up with Tropical Storm Milton estimated to hit Tampa Bay on the Golf Wednesday. In waukesha a woman was buying more big batteries than I've bought in a lifetime. But we prayed for all in SC,NC, Georgia, Florida and wherever affected. Woman from Asheville said Arts District is gone. Sorry about the home damage. Hey I’m in East Tennessee God bless be very careful with FEMA any of those organizations I don’t trust them. The 750$ that they are giving to the flood victims that has lost everything if they don’t pay that back within a year they step in and seize their property and belongings! It’s a shame this world is this way but it’s the truth they want the land!! I saw a quote the other day and it is something that was so true for me and it said "every time I turn around it's something. I am going to quit turning around" At first I thought it was funny but every time I look around my house I see something else that needs to be worked on. Our well went out and we had no water. That got fixed and then we had a leak under our sink and didn't know it until the kitchen sink fell in and now the kitchen floor is bowing up and we can't hardly open and close the back door. Which happens to be the door we use to come in and out. Then the bathroom blew a leak under the toilet and we didn't know until my husband went into the basement to see if the breaker was tripped on the outlet that supplies the air fryer and he saw water all in the basement. It wasn't the outlet. The air fryer is fried. He is disabled and cannot do home repairs and so we almost don't know where to start. I will be praying for you and your situation and I ask that you pray for me and mine. And I hate to even be moaning when we at least have our home although it is falling in, and most of all we have our lives.
I just looked at the map of counties that have been declared a disaster in South Carolina. You may be eligible for FEMA now, Union county is in the disaster area.
