when he clicked on the fanfic link and started to read, i literally had to pause the video, put down my phone, roll onto my back (i was sitting down), cover my face with my hands, and whine out a prolonged "noooooo-"
Dave: "13+ and maybe sometimes 15+.. Wait, do they have a rating system?" Me: "yes, let's go for that explaination, it's not age restricted, it's a rating system."
Dave make a hair care vid please. I'm curious what products you use to keep such long hair healthy and fancy looking. That may shed some light on the people that Google boyinaband hair.
Seriously, my hair is almost as long as his and I'm jealous of how shiny and healthy it is. (But then again my hair is fried due to years of flat-ironing.)

I think people wanting to know where people live is often wondering if they are nearby so they could fufill their fantasy of seeing them in the street and wanting to say hi but being too shy - rather than a stalker, turn up at your doorstep, deal. What do you mean that's oddly specific? Pfft I don't fantasise about bumping into you guys on the street pfft I say! Pffft!
But yeah, jokes aside I would never try and find out someone's address who I didn't know. It's really weird it must make you feel a bit unsafe to think people actually do that :/
that actually happened to jacksepticeye. Someone found out his address (no idea how), FLEW TO IRELAND, and literally showed up on his doorstep with their parents. Poor Jack and his girlfriend were just like, "wtf." I don't understand why anyone would think that's okay.
+stolenbaby2008 Same thing happened to NerdCubed. Someone literally used the view outside a window from one of his videos to find where he lived, sneaked into his apartment building (apparently you aren't allowed in unless invited or you live there. Had to have sneaked in behind someone because of keypad/card locks), and went to his door asking for an autograph and photo. Dan's reaction was probably a lot stronger than Jack's.

It hurts to see most of the Wattpad writing involves such dumb teenage fanfic content. There are so many beautiful pieces of writing which go unnoticed.
exactly, some really good stuff has come out of that site even if there's a lot of cringeworthy content. although, from personal experience, i'd say tumblr and deviantart are definitely better in terms of skill, writing ability and content.
*sigh*. People who think long hair on a male equals gay or trans. I thought that was just an immature middle school thing. We all know they're not genuinely wondering😒
I just wanted to thank you Dave, which is boyinaband for all the new people, you have showed me that it is ok to have long hair and be a boy. I have always wanted to have long hair but my family always made me cut it when it got longer than normal. my hair usually is about 7 or 8 inches long but then my family made me cut it to an inch. You have inspired me to let me express my self and grow long hair as long as yours. it's my first year in highschool and I could see all the people around me expressing them selves with dyed hair or wearing what they wanted to wear. I realised with your help that I should just be me and have long hair. Thank you dave you have helped me find my self. I dont have the long hair yet but I know I will get it. I'm determined. Edit: Grammar mistakes fixed.
welp, my family was already dealing it when i was 5 because i was a serious fan of Iron Maiden, it was so obvious i wanted long hair. Now i have very beatiful curly hair. let that hair grow so majestic!
That's not true, they said multiple times that he's actually the nicest guy ever. The psychotic anarchist willing to murder is more of an internet persona (or maybe an alter ego)
People who subscribed to boyinaband: he makes comedy videos People who know about don't stay in school: He made a video called don't stay in school People who barely know him: he has long red hair
Reminds me of the time some lady tracked down Jenna Marbles' home address because her kids were huge fans. They just showed up unannounced one day hoping to meet Jenna. WHY?! How does one think, "Yes, this is a good and very appropriate idea - this will teach my children great things"?
2:08 Yeah, the 'tumblr'ers that are vitriolic like it that way, but don't like it being called out. Like a fetish, but for the ego. *sighs* Before I get shouted at, no, I'm not saying everyone's like that, just commenting on those that are
This was.....therapeutic. Can you do more videos where you just explore the Internet? Like you dive the depths of tumblr and fight off trolls on Reddit for us? Might be a spot of fun.
Cringe game was strong when I paused to read that fanfic. Do you even punctuation? Or english? Fam pls no... I'm sorry that had to be viewed from your eyes, Dave jfc
Gosh so true. I've only made it to the 5th line. Honorable mentions to "i looked at the window" and "i looked at him and he looked at me" which made me giggle
chillll I'm just giving my opinion and I put #nohate because I am not try hate on this guy. Another opinion I think is sad that you put gofuckingkillyourself over a simple comment
JackSepticEye is Irish, i.e. from the Republic, so bad picture, think Liam Neeson instead or something idk. Northern Ireland has been part of Great Britain since the act of union, note St. Patricks cross (the red cross) on the union flag.
