Hello all and thanks for joining me again this week! I got a new hut this year and thought I would show it to you! This is the Eskimo Outbreak 650XD!! I am not affiliated with Eskimo, (although that would be cool), i just happen to be a fan of their stuff! i am very pleased with this hut and take some time in this video to show off some of its features! As far as ice fishing in portable huts this one is the bomb! and has tons of space for larger groups!! As always please subscribe and thanks for the support!!

Thanks for sharing, It says 52lbs on the box, but it's closer to 65lbs ony scale. its definitely not light but it's a large shack so that's to be expected.

Yeah I purchased it knowing it would be heavy but I like fishing with groups and having lots of space! And that’s good to know!

Brother in law has the outbreak 250. Smaller but same principle. Love the walk thru door. Really nice. Eskimo rocks.

I've been killing them there! Most days I'm by the causeway in a Frabill. If I see that lodge I'll come by and check you out. Too windy today but maybe tomorrow. We go to Diamond often also and catch 19"'s plus

Does this fit in a 5.5ft truck bed or you have to put in diagonally to fit?

I’ll do that! Yeah I am getting back from a walleye trip now but fishing was slow! Probably won’t get much of a video, happens though! That’s fishing!!

Have you found a great way to transport the 6ft monster across the ice? I just got one, and at 6ft and 70lbs it's not really something you want to carry like a duffle bag haha. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of building a sled shelf to lay it across

Yeah I pull mine in a sled but a smitty sled would be better! They ain’t light that’s for sure!

Hey just wondering what you heat your shelter with? I just ordered this shelter and amd hoping my big buddy heater will handle it.

I have the big buddy heater and it works just fine! Even the little buddy does not do too bad. The insulation helps quite a bit. You should not have any trouble keeping it warm!

I Just bought this and one thing nobody mentions in their review is that is way too long when Packed. Hangs out of the box of my truck.

Yeah it is longer! Something I forgot to mention for sure, mine fits in diagonally but I have a short bed, it should fit straight in in a long bed though, definitely an inconvenience at times.

@@bfjoutdoors yeah my old hut was the quick fish three which packed down much smaller and lighter! Was not insulated though and I could only have one other person with me. I’d like to get a small flip over and have two for the option depending on weather and number of people going.

Everyone is so worried about there tiny box on there truck and the 52 lbs. Come on now. Giddy up, put it on the ice and quit crying. If you can't carry 50lbs your 80 years old. I don't even own a truck and it sits on the roof of my sequoia.
