I got kicked off my dock! The harbor will be tearing down the dock and building a new one so I got the boot! Though todays video is not as adventurous as most of my content, this is an important update I wanted to share with you guys! In this video I pack up my boat, dinghy, and dock box and get it ready for my relocation. Before I move I hop in my dinghy and cruise over to check out my new slip for the first time. When I get there a small boat was in my new slip! Good thing I didn't bring the sailboat without checking it out first! I meet some of my new boat neighbors and check out how big the slip is, a 35 footer! Thats a big slip for my 31 ft boat. After seeing my new slip I head back to get my boat ready to leave the dock for the very.. last.. time. Luckily its a short distance to my new location! After successfully moving my boat I walk across the bridge to empty my dock box and grab my dinghy. I load up my dinghy and take all my belongings to my new slip. Which is a tedious process.. I have to take everything out of the dinghy and put it on my back swim step, then off the boat onto the dock, and finally into my new dock box! I set up my steps and mat and now I am officially relocated. The harbor is doing a full renovation and the project will take around 5 years. The dock I was on is going to be torn down next so they had to relocate me. I will miss all of my previous boat neighbors that I got to know over the years... Ill be in this slip until further notice from the harbor. Using the drone has been fun! I was able to pull my boat out of the slip, drive to my new one, and dock all while flying a drone at the same time! My drone skills are getting better!
