I’ve been exploring Valley of the Moon trail for over 8 years in my Jeep Wrangler, it’s has some incredible scenery, extremely fun and challenging obstacles, an old gold mine and the infamous smugglers den. I haven’t been out here in a long time and now it looks like they might have closed some of the best parts of the trail, let's go explore and see what we find. I get out and explore in my silver Jeep Wrangler JK and get after it a little on some challenging obstacles, for for a quick hike and just have a great day on the parts of the trail I could access.

Public Land is getting closed all over! There are people & groups like the Sierra Club & Mojave Land Trust that do nothing but dedicate time to closing land. There are people tied in with the Wild Lands Conservancy that are currently buying up property all around Burns Canyon in an attempt to designate it a private community & are guaranteeing "There will be gates put up" ABOULUTLY ILLEGAL! That has been a right away since the 1800s when the Rose Mine was active. Issues like this need to have attention shined onto them by people like Brad with so many viewers, so others are aware & can help to combat these problems. If not, there will be no need for channel's like this because you won't have places to off road any longer.

Costs taxpayer money to upkeep public land. That’s socialism. Blame the government all you want. But you get the government you vote for and fund.

@srcastic8764 10 месяцев назад
@@occamsox5331 good grief. 🙄🙄 You guys have decided to throw that word “socialism” around onto everything, misusing it to the point you don’t even know what it means. The government maintaining things is not socialism. 🙄🙄
@occamsox5331
@occamsox5331 10 месяцев назад
@@srcastic8764 I’m not misusing the word at all. The stigma attached to the word is the danger. If you wonder why public land is being defunded it’s due to a lack of socialism. The state/national parks systems are a perfect example of the concept. The government is funded by taxes and performs a civic duty that benefits the population. I’d prefer that over corporate/private ownership of what should be public land any day. MGM Sportsbook’s Yellowstone Park just doesn’t sound as nice.

The Bureau of Land Management released the final signed decision for the Labyrinth Rims/Gemini Bridges near Moab. It is a terrible decision for anyone who enjoys recreating in this area. The plan closes 317 miles of some of the best backcountry roads and trails in the world.

Usually, a sign must be in a conditon and properly mounted to be enforceable. Looks like that sign was cut off and came from some other location and was discarded (by illegals?). Your location seems to be too far from the border for that sign to be there. But all I said means nothing if the Border Patrol says different.

“Public” land is being closed down as the current government closes its hand on freedom. The Federal Government wants to close hundreds of thousands of acres around Moab. Most National Parks require reservations. We live near Rocky Mountain National park and haven’t been there for several years. No more impromptu family hikes. Vote appropriate to maintain your rights, then vote for prosecutors that will enforce laws, not limit access.

I absolutely LOVE your channel. To the point that I want to start over landing. In order to do so, I ordered a lift kit from ROUGH COUNTRY. I AM POSTING THIS AS A WARNING TO EVERYONE..... I purchased a 4" lift kit for my 84 Ram Charger. I was told that it would have EVERYTHING that I needed. Well, the front sway bar links, the rear u bolts , and shackles all had to be repurchased due to the lift, being more of a 6" lift. So, it is a bit taller, but my husband is a double amputee, and this causes a problem.... Not including the $248 in parts that I had to purchase afterwards. OK, so I called RC directly and even though he agreed that the wrong parts were in the box, he REFUSED to help in any way! We live on a tight budget, and this f**ked me over , HARD! I just don't want any of you to have to go through the extra money, and crappy service!

My 4x4 has hill descent control, but I personally don't like it... It uses the brake a lot, tapping it continuously. 4 low is also my choice both on climbing and going downhill... My ride is manual, so I leave it on second gear and let it go, managing the throttle and the steering wheel.. Easier and helps avoiding overheating the brakes.
