Its satisfying AF to make them as well. Resteraunt I used to work at had a front of house pizza section. I REALLY dont miss that job, but I miss making those pizza's. There is just something so satisfying about making a really good pizza from scratch.
Similar to the guy in your last story, I had an incident where I ran to the gas station down the road and I asked the attendant to fill up my tank while I ran into the convenience store to go grab a drink and a snack. Upon leaving my car, I realize I don't have my wallet because I left it in my jacket I was wearing last night and I start freaking out. Explained my situation to the attendant who told his manager and she let me drive back to my place to go get my wallet and everything was settled like 15 minutes later.
Brother, the fact you let anybody, even repeat customers, walk out of the building with food without paying at all makes you a Saint in my book. Former industry vet 10 years.
I work at an ice cream place and for that reason you must pay before getting your order. Once somebody came in with a very large order and did not know what he and his family was going to choose he took 3 large yogurts (9.8$ each) 5 large ice creams (7.2$ each) 4 cookies(4.5$ each) and a double Belgian Waffle (20$) After i finished making everything he said he'll pay after they finish eating Once they did i called him to come and pay he ignored me and him and his family fast walked into their car not paying the 104$ they owed
Everything in this world is childish to be honest. Etiquette? That's something people made up. And what, do we need to play pretend and follow it? Even the economy is an entirely made up thing. There isn't a difference between adults paying in cash for a sandwich, and children paying in sand for a sand sandwich on the playground. Our entire world relies on adult play-pretend. I might or might not be high while writing this comment, but hey, i'm right!
I remember going into a subway and not realizing I left my wallet at home, and I began freaking out and just got ready to leave without it when the lady in front of me said she would pay for me. Thank you so much random lady. ❤
I worked at a family-owned fast food shop for a while and since I knew my customers well, as long as they told me before they ordered that they didn't have cash on them I'd let it slide. If they forgot their wallet and noticed only after I made the food then I'd let them slide too because it's a small town and I'd bump into them eventually.
The "don't do drugs" part is important because you know it's someone holding onto that $6 for something they shouldn't instead of giving it to you, no one get's that defensive over coffee change unless they've upgraded from coffee.
@@seanplaysgames2551 tbh it could be that too and most likely is, but IMO most places you hear "i got you next time" or "can i pay next time?" are small business fast food joints or convenient stores so it's either drugs or stupidly entitled people that think they're somehow too important to pay, like it's $6 - $8 XD
Something similar happened when I worked drive thru for my local canes. A group of guys pulled up and asked me if we had cashapp. Confused by this, I had them repeat it but instead of responding they sped off to the second window; received their drinks and food and left without paying
Ended up in a situation where I forgot my wallet and it was a new place lol manager was working the place solo and let me take the shake I ordered anyway. Made it less awkward for me so I was thankful for that. Came back later to pay for it and bought some other stuff as a thank you. Still have some of the protein powder left cuz it wasn't that long ago. If I ever head out that way again I'll def stop by for a shake. I'd 100% understand if he didn't want us to take the shake though. But I probably wouldn't have gone back out of embarrassment LOL
Why do I always see you working at different places every other video, because I know subway does not sell pizza. Ive been watching your videos for a while and I really want to know. Thank you and have a blessed day!!
Not sure if trolling but Subway has sold pizza for at least a decade. This isn't subway in the video but they certainly sell pizza. I give you a 2 of 10 on the troll scale.
@@ricjeknings8050 lol sorry i didnt know subway sold pizza but i remember seeing episodes of him making other stuff too like one time he mades donuts (do they make that too)
I think "I got you next time" or get you back later is only applicable towards return customers who have a reputation with the restaurant already. Not that it should be common but specific cases can be understandable
I once did this. Came next day the food truck wasn't there. I was panicking since I was leaving the country for good one day later. 10 years later I payed them 10 times the amount and bought a sammich(lol). Love canada. And the smile on that ladys face. Sweetest lady and best food and poutine ever.
This happened to me once, I was going to subway and I actually forgot my wallet at home cuz I was in a rush and I told the subway worked to wait here and I'll go back home and get my wallet, surprised he actually stood there and waited for me :)
always strive to be the person who drove 40 minutes to his house and back to pay. Sincerity and respect is something needed in today's society, even when corporate life seems so faceless and robotic.
