Don't be jelly. You'll die faster in Florida in those Rivers then you will in California. It takes a lot of experience and iron balls to do what he does here in Florida. One bump from a gator and if you're in south Florida like he is, a crocodile, if you don't believe in God you will once you hit that water......
That's florida livin. Absolutely beautiful surrounded by 1000 people from Michigan, new york, ohio and new Jersey🤦. Can't wait to have our state back in about a month.
Luckily there aren't many yankees in the back country. I grew up fishin' in Florida and wish I could move back. But it is crowded. My hometown has a million people where we had 250k not long ago. I want to move down by the Glades, away from the traffic jam.
yow bro your brave to do what you do sometimes just be careful and thank for all the videos i have learnt a lot from watching you for so long now bless up from Jamie's Super Adventurers 🙏 keep fishing dro.
When I was a little kid a friend of my dad's came over with a gator that he killed for attacking a stringer of fish. We lived across from the pond. They hacked up the gator and we are it. And dad was a cop. But laws don't apply to them apparently.
Man, really resonated with this one. Such a beautiful river and always cool seeing it from someone’s perspective. Those waterproof backpacks are handy!
The drive the vigor the skill the serene landscape its just insane ive been watching sense 30k i Subs and this is by far the coolest video ive seen yet! Keep fishin never stop as my good friend john b would say! Love you my dawgg
You’ve come a long way from zipping around the bay in your flats boat to beating down a gator for some black water snook fishing on your SUP and you’ve gotten good with the camera. Definitely a successful evolution! I was just waiting for you to tell the kayakers:”Like, subscribe and smash the bell etc”. LOL
When people talk about “Old Florida”, for many it conjures images of oak trees and Spanish moss. To me, rivers like that are my memory of “Old Florida”... rivers of tannic-stained water, cypress, cabbage palms... I miss it!
Not much of it left sadly. Gotta go up towards north Florida to get back in the boogerwoods any more. Tampa south is slowly losing this kind of beauty.
Epic is the most overused word in the youtube fishing lexicon, but I haven't seen anything this amazing since the Amazon trip, everything for the thumbnail onward was incredible. RU-vidr fisherman take a note: day fishing in the backdrop of awe inspiring creation where you have to limbo to get downstream through monsoon rain and beat down hungry alligators qualifies as "Epic". Mind blowing day!
WOW... This has to be the most beautiful fishing site I have seen you fish Lawson.... This is the kind of fishing I love to get into.... NOTHIN but the wildlife and myself. Well, maybe a fishing buddy with me to enjoy what Florida has to offer!
Stunning scenery and what an awesome video Lawson. Love those old growth cypress forrests!! The growth in your cinematography and storytelling is meteoric compared to when i started watching you. Very well done. Im happy for you. Tight lines...
Used to swim those spillways as a kid before they rebuilt them to what they are now. Used to create an air pocket you could get underneath and come up under and hang out when the water was high. The further west you go the skinnier, darker and more jurrasic it got. Used to go WELL past Indiantown Rd decades ago but I believe it's all overgrown now. Memories...
this is one of these videos that i dont even have to watch it all the way through to already know that its going to be a really really good video also i just really like these videos when you go adventuring to these places that are wild and go somewhere different than seawalls and i just think old florida is the coolest thing ever
Dude that alligator was was more aggressive than any I have encountered...usually they are really skittish. The fact that you slapped at him multiple times and he hung around...def no the norm lawdog
Well done fishing, filming, putting up with heavy rain, music playing kayakers, gators, bugs, tidal change, current and much more. Florida has so much beauty to offer. The State is loaded with beauty and luckily, it seems the Florida government strives to protect and share it with visitors.
You gotta love these days you may not remember all the greatest calm days but on days like these in the middle of no where pouring rain throwing a top water that's what the passion is about....
What a dream man. I've been fighting COVID for the past year and a fishing trip like this is just what I need to reset. But for now I'm living through you brother, thank you! Great video
The stretch of river I grew up fishing had an "outfitter" open next to it several years ago. I will not fish the sections I did as a teenager due to the ignorant paddlers (easy folks, not all paddlers are ignorant, retract your offense). It did force me to explore other sections of the river and I found some good smallie waters as a result. Killer float trip though, take it in stride and enjoy the beauty.
Man let me tell you, it’s incredible! The best water to fish in Florida(and really anywhere) is the water where you wouldn’t expect anything to live. I’ve caught my biggest bass and Snook both out of spots where you wouldn’t expect to catch them!
Awesome video man I live in Central Florida off the Peace River and it is beautiful but you might have me beat. I'm sure you probably already know this but be careful on those releases I've had a gator take the fish right out of my hands. Keep up the great content you're the best
You can see your effort in how your video making has constantly improved. I enjoy the fishing content but I also enjoy seeing a quality video. You have minimal camera shake and great quality shots.
