It's understandable Callum, just the other day my cat brought a small bird into my house and I comforted the bird in my hands as it passed away due to its injuries. You're a good man Callum Adams, and even though the task of mercy killing that mouse was difficult, you had the strength to go through with it.
its kinder to put something thats in horrific pain out of its misery, rather than prolonging a long painful death, that took guts, would be quite a surreal traumatic situation, hope it doesnt play on your mind too much, keep your chin up cal
Callum, this traumatic even may make you reflect on your view of how you feel animals should be treated. That mouse was lucky, imagine the horrors animals endure within factory farming. They don’t get killed out of mercy.
was going into this expecting some heartbreak, maybe a close family member dies and he needs some time off. but instead, im utterly distraught, a mouse lost its life to callums own hands, and i wouldnt be surprised if he never uploads again. tis a sad day for us all cal, we mourn with you. fly high little mouse.
Your story reminds me alot about my old dog Keira who had to be put down last May after she became really unwell one night and lost her balance so she couldn't stand up and walk by herself anymore. I still really miss her but I'm happy that she doesn't have to suffer anymore.

I feel for ya callum, this reminds me of when my mother was cleaning the chicken coop an she uncovered 2 baby mice with a rake and they couldn't even open their eyes, I held them in my hands for a while before i put them in the corner of the coop under some hay, animals are truly beautiful. ( if you dont believe me illl email you pics of my chickens to confirm. :) )
