@@afterreading- Nope! The archetype was the first thing she burnt. If I remember correctly, she smashes one of the balefire torches with it, which sets the rest of the storehouse on fire.

I love Alvar, hate Fintan 😅 I do want to find out who Sophie's bio dad is, and I think it will be Gethen. I also have a theory that Forkle is Gethen's dad. I do not think her father is Elwin, I just think he's a friendly guy in general 🥰 A main character staying with the Neverseen...hm, it depends. Who do you have in mind?? Lord Cassius...I want him to become a better father, because I love the idea of broken people finding healing and I very much pity Cassius, but I think I've seen quite a few people who agree with you about him not changing xD

I do not like the way that the Black Swan tried to play God and I understand what you're saying, although I think all of the project moonlark drama is interesting, and I want to see how it plays out. I'm a little like: it was a mistake but since that mistake was made let's hope for the best, and that it never happens again!

I feel like the way they treated and still do treat Sophie is kinda unfair! Like maybe if she knew her mom was Oralie by the collective telling her, she would understand why she can’t tell anyone. Idk something about it is super manipulative

Fitz as a character is okay, but the boi has issues. ANGER ISSUES, TOXICITY ISSUES, NEED I GO ON???

@@emilysmith4213 I feel like lots of people hate Fitz and I have seen much discussions and things about Fitz so I partially understand what people who hate Fitz are getting at. Yes fitz was really mean in Exile, but look at it this way. He just learnt that his DAD died (practically), of course he would be upset and stuff! Imagine someone who you are really close to or look up to died, especially if one of your guardians died. That must’ve been really hard for him, but also in in the 1st book, when Sophie learnt that Grady and Edaline were unadopting her she was pretty mean to her friends, so think about what FITZ was going through. Studies (Science Direct) shows that people cope differently, as said. “There are many different conceptualizations of coping strategies, but the five general types of coping strategies are problem-focused coping, emotion-focused coping, social support, religious coping, and meaning making.” And it just seems that Fitz copes with anger, and I do also. Is it like I want to cope with anger and possibly ruin friendships? No of course not! It’s just the way that different people react, when my friend died what I did was I shut everyone out and was a huge asswhole to everyone, like a BIG one. I started blaming the things that happened on different people and me, did they do wrongs? No they didn’t, nothing could’ve stopped it, and that’s just the way that different people cope. It took a long time for me to get over it and sometimes anger still comes. And you may be thinking, why am I saying all of this? Well in your life there may be a close person, or maybe you, who may do the same things that Fitz did, and during those times people need support, like a lot. And if you just shut them out and tell them there super mean, that may make the situation worse. Cause I find that Shannon did a good job with portraying coping and the odds of someone coping with anger are not low. Does it make it right? No, but that’s how people cope with it. Fitz let Sophie throw Alvar’s Foxfire prize thing down the stairs of watchward heath, he went to go get Ella when Sophie forgot her, he went with her to the battle of Mount Everest. Sometimes Keefe isn’t that nice to people like when he yelled at Sophie once and he ran away two times. But that’s just the thing, everyone in life experiences emotions, you shouldn’t expect everyone to be all goody two shoes and skipping around the whole city saying hi to everyone who passes. I am sorry if anything came off as rude.

@@emilysmith4213 I would include stuff about the legacy matchmaking thing but that would add on more, so simplified thousands of years of “perfect” family’s and being the outcast of that family would be a lot of pressure by the public. I found that part mean tho cus like in a game once I sacraficed a whole bay for the main love interest lmao 😂 (life is strange 1) (bae before bay lol 🤣)

My unpopular opinion is, i Don't really like Keefe, i hate fitz more but Keefe really needs to change for me to like him

I feel like he's always been hiding under a mask of some sort, whether hiding secrets as during the first four books, or the Neverseen mask, and then the amnesia mask. The first time he was unmasked was in Legacy at Candleshade, and he was very...interesting. Really I find the whole scene there with him in Legacy interesting. People can point to the fact that he says that he stands by what he's done, but remember that elves can't feel guilt or else they'll shatter? Plus, he's lost EVERYTHING that he had to be remotely proud of (and I personally love redemption arcs, and I hope he does still get one). His personality is a lot like Keefe, something I feel like a lot of fans forget. He has a different story and has made huge mistakes, but Keefe makes mistakes too and we're there for Keefe no matter what.. Honestly, Alvar grabbed my attention from the very beginning and I'd love to learn more about the unmasked Alvar that we saw in Candleshade. I hope he survived. Plus, may I mention that instead of living the high life he risked everything to expose his families dark secrets and get other people to search for them (like I'm hoping Biana especially will continue to look into the Vacker Family Legacy-but find a better way to go about it of course. Like I said, I do understand that Alvar made some huge mistakes). I really think it's unfair that the council hasn't yet punished Luzia Vacker for treason and won't punish Fitz for attempted murder, but would immediately punish Alvar for revealing the treason and nearly being /being Fitz's victim.. I'm not saying that he must be everyone's FAVORITE character, even though he is mine. Only that everyone be open minded to the idea of Alvar changing, because he almost did. Sophie almost talked him out of helping the Neverseen again. I don't know. I love the Vacker family because they're all so... complicated, lol.

I thought I was the only one! Well, not the best character imo, but one of the best bad guys

One time he literally drugged Sophie because she was asking too many questions 💀 and this was in nightfall so pretty recent 😳

But Keefe never has to serve a consequence and makes bad decisions because he thinks it will all turn out okay. Sophie needs to stop favoring him and let him have punishments

Biana is literally my favorite character. I think Keefe has too much page time and that Shannon should give that time to Dex or Biana

I don't like Della and Biana because they are immature. Also, they misbehaved with Alvar. Della has forgotten him, and Biana, locked in a hive at the mercy of his enemies while he has amnesia! For Dex on the other hand, I agree, he doesn't have enough time... On the other hand, avoid saying that I am a disgrace, it is not funny.

@@Bloody_Painter_4ever don’t forget that Fitz was the one that ACTUALLY locked Alvar in the hive, and he could’ve stopped it, and you still love him Plus, Alvar is a terrible person and he honestly deserves it
