Brent, we still need another 107 episodes of Corner Gas, the live-action sitcom. Lorne has already said he's in. If you agree, then there's only 6 more to go!
@@UnjustifiedExistence it is a joking reference to the fact that they made exactly 107 episodes of the live action corner gas show. They also made a movie, and then Four Seasons of the animated version. If I'm not mistaken, they were the only show in history to ever start with eight main characters, and have eight main characters in every single episode.
Well by season 4 they were recycling sketch ideas and the animated version is nearly all recycled material. You reach a point where you see yourself at the pinnacle and realize that long fast slide down. Corner Gas left on top. That says a lot. I also loved hiccups and Dan for Mayor. Different show ideas, different sketches. Yeah, I’d watch that.
I saw Brent live in Edmonton a ways back - such a great show. I just love his style of comedy (and it shows so much in the writing of Corner Gas too) Brent Butt is a Canadian Gem.
I heard this lecture on a TedTalk once about saving paper towels, and idk it just stuck so I do it all the time: shake the water off your hands a bunch of times to waste less paper towels (or save air drying time). The guy was like “I shake 12 times because it’s the last number with only one syllable” (idk why that mattered, but I will not doubt this man of his hand drying expertise) and then if you’re using paper towels you won’t need as many. He also had a thing about folding the paper towel a couple times to make it more absorbent, but that doesn’t always work out. But as far as hand dryers go, it definitely speeds up the process, since that’s all they’re doing really, just more “efficiently”. Anyway, thanks for coming to MY TedTalk.

Any chance of more of The Buttpod podcast episodes coming are way anytime in the near future? I've thoroughly every single previous episode, but am looking forward to more of them to help me get through my long days at work. Basically, my job is a big bag of yawns and listening to your podcast will go a long way in preventing me from loosing it on my coworkers and ending up on the 6 o'clock news.
I like Schitt’s Creek, I think it’s similar in feel (though writing is way different). It’s not as goofy & the plots are overarching, not episodic, so things do change throughout the series- but it has that very mellow & “small town” vibe that got me hooked on CG.
My usual routine is 1. Push button. 2. Wave hands about ineffectively for 10 seconds. 3. Wipe them on pants. 4. Leave, hoping the front of my pants ain't so wet now from wiping that it looks like I peed meeself!
