Facts bro and the fact that the music TELLS YOU THE BOSS BACKSTORY/ THEIR FEELINGS is pure art due too the fact they get no visual backstory, This game as a whole is a passion project and the attention too detail is crazy.

if you didn't know, the companion blade wolf, the cyborg dog raiden introduces in mexico just before the sewer levels is actually LQ-84I. The same cyborg dog with a chainsaw tail he fought as a boss earlier in the game. raiden just had doktor repair him and remove the mind wiping software in blade wolf's ai

Monsoon has gotta be my favorite boss, aside from the final one. He makes you have to pay attention and improve, whips you into shape, his music slaps (like the rest of it), and he’s one of the only ones to canonically fight Ripper Jack the whole fight.

it has to be this way SLAPS, i put way more time into this game than i'm happy to admit. i've probably got 10h on the last boss across every difficulty. Revengence was TERRIBLE but right after i'd did that i could run the game on any other difficulty in like 2 hours
@@m.v.r752 the hardest part about her fight is usually the dwarf geckos but ninja run slashes gets rid of those no problem and still let's you hit her. I have OCD. I tried S ranking everything which for the most part took getting no damage so she wasn't too bad for me. Making me wanna boot the game back up 😂
The funny part is that the "Memes are the DNA of the soul" speech is based on actual recorded phenomena in society ,all throughout history. Long story short, ideas, concepts and ideals are passed on from person to person, generation to generation, shaping the world and society at large over time and spreading almost like a virus. And while some are spread, other ideas that are deemed unfit, redundant, obsolete or archaic are slowly "killed off" sort of as a form of natural selection. I mean, just compare the societal norms of now to merely a century ago, and you'll alredy see how accurate Monsoon's speech is. Internet culture might have appropriated the term "meme" but its existed for a while and its a genuinely fascinating subject.

Would be awesome if you did a video just checking out the music. Raiden is like a side protagonist throughout snakes games and this was a game for him set sometime during and after the metal gear solid games. Really a lot of love for the series.
Dontai you can parry while being sauced on just keep mashing the direction the attacks are coming from on the left stick and square at the same time! Gold attacks you gotta run/dodge and red is the perfect time to parry. Also check out your movelist!

Raiden and Snake are completely separate people. This game is a spin off that isn’t super connected to the other games even though Raiden is also one of the main characters you play as in the series. This game is actually the last one chronologically. But the real story ends in Metal Gear Solid 4. I hope you play the Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater remake when it comes out! It’s a masterpiece and it’s story is a prequel and first one chronologically so it’s the perfect place to start in the main series without any prior knowledge.
I've been waiting for dontai to play mgr since I saw him play other classics. Not only is this one of my favorite games of all time, but it also has some of the best music in gaming

I misread that as "Moon-Sun" and got reminded of a boss from Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. Specifically one who is mostly naked, fights with a big hammer, and has a hat/helmet that looks like a wizard hat with a skeleton face that has axe blades on the sides.
hey dontai you can dodge attack enemies by pointing the analog stick in any direction and pressing square and x at the same time helps better when its side to side also locking on helps
