why in the first place, we need to address judges as " My Lords" ??? Your honor shud be suffice to address them. British left us in 1947 but we are still stuck with their stupid way of dealing with courts and judges. Personally, for us, Only Lord is God Almighty, be it Ganapati, Shiv, Vishnu, Brahma, Laxmi, saraswati . Devi etc. Judges are human beings and they cannot demand such respect. We need to change the way respect the judiciary and the judges. They have become too egostic. Need to bring them back to earth.

Why do we have to say ‘My Lord’? This has to end. For a religious person there’s only one Lord. A judge is just another human being. A judge is just a Subject Matter Expert. an expert in the constitutional law with a job of interpreting the law.

The job of a judge is not superior to any other. His job is to deliver a verdict in accordance with the law after impartially hearing both the opposing sides. But why does this job make it superior to any other job in the society, let's say a teacher who educates students, a doctor who cures the physical suffering of the people, or a soldier who risks his life to defend the country? It does not seem rational to elevate the role of the judge to such servile level. Judge's job is as important and valuable as some other socially esteemed jobs. Western countries don't have such a system of obsequious address to the judge as "my lord". India is still holding on to the system handed down by its colonial masters.

3:12 I happened to listen to an interview of rajavel Nagarajan on the appalling conditions in the waiting room of the jail. The officials can make the visitors wait as long as they want and not grant permission to see for the day. The toilets are unsanitary One cannot bring food for the accused if the jail officials think it to be dangerous. Etc. Etc… You should do one podcast on jails itself with someone who has been on the receiving end… Also can you please talk about the judicial kidnapping by state police of RU-vidrs who hurt politicians

The judiciary is presently all powerful. It can and does oversee the activities of parliament. But try as it may, parliament is unable to break the stranglehold of the judge selecting a judge. Judiciary is supposed to be on par as per the constitution.

Most people don't know this about Sai deepak sir is that he is a subject matter expert in IPR laws specifically, patent laws. He doesn't claim to be a dharma expert or constitution law expert and still he is bloody good at it. Imagine how formidable he must be in his own subject ( IPR).
