That's incredible, big cities and big battles and fantastic magic are all visually spectacular, but the true joy in these adaptations is seeing places like Emmond's Field or Hobbiton come to life and feel that warmth

I am happy for you, do me a favor, smack Rafe in the head and tell him to follow the books. Remind him the story is not just about Mary Sue (sorry Egwene the all powerful) and it's also about Rand, Mat, Perrin, and Nyneve.

Did you miss the part where she is enslaved and unable to do anything, or wear she has to be saved from Ishamael by Rand, or her inability to fight in season 1 due to a lack of training,or being tricked by a darkfriend, which led to her enslavement... yeah it getting Mary sue vibes

@@mEmory______Egwene saved herself, and was able to hold off Ishamael with a little difficulty. She got sucker punched by Sister Strong Jaws, but if it was a fight between them Egwene would win. She is a Mary Sue plan and simple; in the books Nyneve and Elyane help free her. She also doesn't seem to need to follow the rules of the A'dam, since she was able to do something will ill intent to her sul'dam. We already know she can revive the dead; I just wonder what's next.

@@UnravelingthePatternI think you mean accurately interpreting most scenes. I wasn't being personal, but giving valid critisim based on observation. Can any of my points be refuted? Ishamael should be been able to shield Egwene with no effort, instead continues to toss ineffective attacks at her; even Daniel Greene made this point. It's bad writing by people who shouldn't have jobs (Rand stilled 3 sisters by himself at one point, don't tell me Ishamael isn't just as skilled or strong). Didn't Logain warn Rand about burning out and losing the ability to channel, but isn't that was happened at bare minimum to Nyneve at the end of season one? So does that mean Logain was wrong, or Nyneve didn't burn out but just showed all the signs of burning out (any dying). In season 2 when they stuck to the books the episodes were good, when they didn't they were terrible. They can never stick the landing on the 8th episode, happened in season 1, and again in season 2.
