The largest tire that the Toyota 4Runner community uses is a 31.5" or 275/55R20. I wanted to try and run a 33" tall or 275/60R20. I went into this installation knowing I was most likely going to have some clearance issues however I did not want to make any permanent or irreversible changes to the 4 Runner in order to make these tires fit. In the end, we successfully utilized the 33" tall tires on the stock Toyota 4 runner 20" rims and did not make any permanent changes to the vehicle. Follow along as I show you how to do this to your Toyota 4Runner.
