Regardless of what your worldview or belief is, if you are challenged and you respond with hostility or claims of “you just don’t know anything” “your mind isn’t open” then it shows a deep sense of insecurity in your position. I truly don’t understand why the response isn’t just to engage in the dialogue and have it be fine if you don’t agree at the end. It baffles me.

Its actually insane how much danger and backlash Tyler encounters for investigating all of the totally reasonable topics he does.

Dave seems like a very genuine person. Its just that

Pay attention closely and you'll notice, every time he asks a legitimate question, they either answer it with 1) a vague, meaningless statement, 2) another question entirely, or 3) they make fun of him in some way. All of these answers are designed to make you feel stupid and break your will to continue questioning what you're being told. And by making you feel dumb, you're more likely to accept everything as factual. That's why it makes some of them angry, because they want you to stop reminding them that they have no idea what they're talking about.

I like that Dave guy, he was willing to at least entertain your questions and even though you flipped on him, he was still nice.

I'm not a flat earther, but you need to do a part two to this. With people to try and disprove he flat earthers while a flat earther with "a lot of knowledge" tags along to try and dispute. Do the tests they try to use to prove or disprove flat earth with two "experts" together. Seriously this is something you should continue on.

Dave is a genuine person. Even at the end he’s not pushing any of his beliefs on anyone and calling them blind like the others were. He just urges people to do their own research, which to be fair is good advice regarding anything.

If you haven't seen the documentary "Behind the Curve," then I strongly recommend it. It goes deep into trying to understand how these people get to the conclusions that they get to while at the same time being very kind.

The funniest part of Dave’s explanation is when he said how did America get so much bigger when comparing Africa and Asia to north and South America Another thing is that when comparing the two pictures of earth from different times they were just the same image with different quality

I proved to myself that the world was round during my time in the Army. When navigating over large distances with a protractor, map, and compass, soldiers have to account for the curvature of the Earth. On a flat Earth, a straight line on a map would correspond to a straight line on the ground. However, because the Earth is a sphere, a straight line on a map actually represents a great circle route on the globe, which may appear as a curved path on the ground. Maps use a grid system based on latitude and longitude, which are based on the Earth’s curvature. Lines of latitude are parallel to the equator, while lines of longitude converge at the poles. If the Earth were flat, we would not expect lines of longitude to converge (they would remain parallel). Also what prevents the objects from smashing into each other is the is The Weeknd strong nuclear forces that dictate to gravity and inertia play planets with less strong gravity and the inquisitions in order to enforce the gravitational force caused a sort of slingshot effect where they can sling objects towards them and keep it gravitational pull constant but ultimately are not strong enough to keep it for long and thus fling it out into space only to take it back again with inertia

One time at my old job a customer was wearing a flat earth hat and I thought he was wearing it ironically so I complimented his hat and he proceeded to go on a 20 minute long rant about why the earth is flat and I was just so confused and caught off guard

Theres a company that can take you to the stratosphere and edge of space in a MIG-29 Fulcrum fighter jet and you will see the curve of the Earth for yourself. The company even promotes that you will see the curve. Theres a video of guy being taken up and you see it clear as a space day.
