The only thing I actually know for certain about Diablo 4. Is that I will not be giving them my money for an expansion. I already got tricked into paying them 70$ to play test their product. I have not forgotten that. And I refuse to be like others who swallow 12 inches of copium and try to forget. With the money they made deceiving and marketing their beta product, what justification is there to charge us 40$ for an expansion. This expansion would have to revolutionize the Diablo 4 experience in order to justify that.
@@tripleraze321 agreed. To me the xpac is coming too soon. They should have added more content through seasons, and keeping the features there like poe does. Then, after another year, release an xpac
It’s pretty simple… here’s a roadmap… ask them this.. Enjoy! Diablo IV: Patch Notes 1.5.XX.XXX.SOON Map & Exploration: Region Progress & Rewards: Removed. Exploration focuses on uncovering the entire map. Waypoint Persistence: Waypoints unlocked during a season remain accessible in subsequent seasons. Strongholds: Transformed into Legion Events. Players activate them, and after defeating 3 Legions, a Tormented World Boss spawns. Side Quests: Progress now carries over between seasons. Dungeons & Aspects: Completing a dungeon unlocks the entire corresponding Aspect level. Dungeon progress persists across seasons. Altars of Lilith: Removed for a more streamlined endgame. PvP Area: Removed to cater to a wider audience. Mark of Blood: Usable anywhere on the map for increased flexibility. Whispers of the Dead: Removed events to enhance focus on core endgame activities. Map Filters: Improved for better usability. Character & Progression: Stats: Simplified. Reduced to “Main Stat” and a combined “All Stats” category. Resistances consolidated into “Magic Resist.” Character Sheet: Redesigned to display core stats: Life, Resource, Armor, Magic Resist, and Attack Power. Paragon Board: Removed. Replaced with a system awarding 1 skill point per level (up to level 100). Gems: Converted into Glyphs for skill enhancement. Legendary Nodes: Integrated into the skill tree as learnable key passives (cost: 5 points). Stat Progression: Implemented a “mastery” style system granting 1% to all stats and 2% to the main stat per level. Item Vendors: Consolidated. Weapon/Armor vendors removed. Blacksmith gains “Sell All Junk” and “Salvage All Junk” functions. Tempering: Simplified. Becomes a one-time application per item, allowing for up to 2 affix additions. Unique Items: Converted into “Unique Aspects” imprintable on items alongside regular aspects. Item Enchanting: Allows adding up to 4 affixes to items using endgame materials, instead of replacing existing ones. Nightmare Dungeons: Removed. Boss Materials: Used to craft stackable Normal and Tormented Boss Sigils. Purveyor of Curiosities: Sells items with 1-2 affixes, allowing for further customization with the Occultist. Jeweler: Now sockets Glyphs providing character bonuses and rare node effects. Alchemist: Upgrades potion capacity alongside potion level. Transmutation: All boss materials included in the “Summoning Items” category. Uber Uniques: Introduced as class-specific endgame goals (one per slot). These changes aim to streamline exploration, enhance character building, and provide more control over loot and crafting.
For the Skill Tree DM, you can do it quickly with your recording, just mouse over each thing for 1-2 seconds, then we can screenshot/pause everything to read it.
How are they fixing Sorc specifically? Item that allows for extra ultimate + Key Passive on the bar? +2 rings + 3rd enchantment? +1 Amulet slot + 3rd enchantment? +1 2-hander + 3rd enchantment?
Thank you :) 1. Changes to primary systems if there are any (Skilltrees, Paragon Boards etc.) 2. the new Class 3. Changes to existing classes if there are any (Hope the overhaul Sorc) 4. Mercenaries
They won't be adding anything major you guys know better than that. A new character and new zones. There won't be new skill trees for existing characters thats never happened in any previous Diablo game and you can d4 will be the same
Big Questions: 1 - Skill / Paragon skill tree changes 2 - Any additional bank space, codex, load out, general QoL updates? 3 - Does the expansion make the current game areas feel useless, and abandoned, or does it feel like it will stay relevant? (this was always an issue in WoW) 4 - Does Lorath follow you on the quest content and continue his narration? Have fun DM!
Number 3 is a really good question and is one of my concerns as well. Not that the game is heavily multiplayer dependent, but after a week into a new season WT1-3 can feel pretty empty, if the player base gets segmented even more... Number 4 though - I'm hoping this one doesn't get answered -- good question but spoilers.
@@jannderwow Not sure who you are targeting here, but since you are using ageism, are you a boomer? 'cause I'm right after you, thanks for everything. If you never complain and are a sheep, that's on you. Nothing then will ever change, keep it up. I guess it goes with age..
1. Are they going to do something about poison hitting harder than all the elemental damage types even at full resists? This has been an issue forever. It's also not easy to see the life pool when poisoned and having fortified life. This is a problem. Sometimes I'm not even sure whether I am about to die or not. 2. Getting physical damage reduction is almost non-existent on some classes. On some classes it's tied to Paragon boards that don't fit the build you may be running at all. We can't be expected to run those boards just to get some. Are they going to do something about this? 3. Gold drops from killing mobs is horrible and underwhelming. Is this something that will be addressed?
Please pressure them on an "armory" system. Even if it's not a full blown system like we want yet, being able to at least save 3-4 paragon board configurations would be a great start.
Why pressure them? If you can read between the lines, it has been pretty much confirmed it's coming. Probably Season 6, but maybe Season 7. What's the point of asking about it, it will be done when it's done.
@@Faint0903season 6 would be the expansion in Oct. The problem is that they keep blowing it off like some crazy complex system, which to their design could be, but there still needs to be a quality of life compromise in the mean time to give us something that solves the most tedious part of trying new builds
@@jhhood86 I don’t think they blew it off at all. If anything they were doing the opposite. They kinda confirmed it that they are working on it. I don’t think asking them again and again will speed up the process at all
@@Faint0903 Then I guess you fail to miss the point of continuously asking them about it. If we stopped asking altogether then they may not see it as important and reallocate resources elsewhere. They may not have enough resources to begin with. My reasoning of asking them though is to actually get some firm answers like it will be here by season 7-8 for example; not just evade any details with "its super complex". We know it is, but what kind of plan do they have? It's a pain in end game right now when you get a piece of gear you want to try out for a different build and it doesn't pan out but now you need to figure out how your last build was
@@jhhood86 Tbh I think you're just not great at reading between the lines. Obviously they are working on it but they didn't wanted to announce it yet, cause they are either keeping it as a surprise for the expansion, or the season after, as a big feature coming. When they were asked about Auction House, they gave a definitive answer (not coming). When they were asked about the Armory, they said they know a lot of people want it. Why didn't they said it's not coming, you think? And asking it won't make it faster, that's not how development works.
I love how much success DM is having, such a humble dude. All the best for you man, seeing all this life changing stuff just amazing. Always good news with DM!
My questions: How much more money are they expecting me to pay for the expansion? And how long after the expansion releases until they expect it to be in a playable state? And how quickly will they release something new and unfinished for me to buy? Edit: But seriously though, really cool opportunity and really excited for you!
Glad they are doing this. D4 content creators have convinced me to play things I would have skipped otherwise, and the memes keep me enjoying the game even when I'm not playing.
awesome news! 1- how will current content be handled (are we gonna be annoyed having to run around in old content to grind or will they fresh it up) 2- switch specs easier (go to wardrobe and switch equipment, skills, paragon board to some presets, like we have for the transmog now) even if there is still a gold cost per switch
Honestly rely on you for your overall opinion of fun or not fun over any technical aspect.. because I’m that dad with 100 kids working 96 hours a week, and all I care about is logging in casually to goof off and have fun.
Hi, glad you are getting a chance to go! The question I would like to ask is: What are the changes being making to improve the overall game play (improvements to crafting, etc.)? What is being done to add content for players beyond level 80 (Seems each time I get to about level 80+ it starts getting VERY boring and grindy)? Last question is (this is a big one), will this content keep us engaged for more than the start of a season? Figured I would just put in my two cents. Thanks again for the great content! :)
Priority questions to you. #1 do they add longevity on desire to play the season past a couple leveled characters, some farming then log off until start of.new season. #2 whats the is the focus for the new character..whats its role, #3 speaking of roles, have they introduced any content designed for more than solo play? Would love to see content where the classes strengths are required/desired to push group content. #4 is the added story better then the seasons 5 mins worth of story
Is there any plans to keep the lighting lower and add Light Radius back in the game? It makes the cellar and dungeons much more creepy. Also, adding magic find back in the game to be able to lower drop rates back to a level where legendaries and uniques will actually make them more... legendary and unique?
Quick questions for your live 1. Will Barb get buffed? 2. How much of a buff will Barb get? 3. Can Barb builds get buffed? 4. When will Druids get diet potions? Thanks.
i want to know if the new class has any (good) lazy low atm build. Sometimes after work im just so tired im not able to play anything complex so i tend to play minion builds, one button wonders, basic skill builds etc
I want to know, are they going to incorporate more RNG elements for replayability fun, where people play for situational surprises and fun rather than play for loot or power. Combination lock style, 9 debuffs, 9 movements, 9 ranged attacks, (that's 999 combinations). Each tumbler is a drastic synergy build-altering possibility. 1 million possible builds with 6 item slots and 10 items per slot. 1 million unique quests. 1 million unique bosses. 1 million unique random events.
With all the seasonal Diablo 4 content, the game was turned into an arcade-style game where you explode through immense amounts of monsters. This has made the monsters feel unintimidating/uninteresting. The most important thing for the expansion is for this to be addressed, so that monsters feel like something.
I just want to see a screenshot or scroll of the new talent tree updates for each class. I don't necessarily need to see what each new node on the skill tree does, I just want to see of we are getting "1 more core skill, 1 new ult, 2 new passives" per class, or genuine real additions like 3rd branch options for each ability, etc
1. Level which does not exist 2. Stronghold utilization in future? 3. Will clans have an observable influence over the open world or sectors of PvP map? An actual impact. 4. LFG in-game tool 5. Are they concerned of current state of trade? 6. Crafting recipes for gear with RNG of rolls akin to Diablo 2 runewords, or just more creative crafting systems? 7. Power creep after 1 year. Any plans to dial this back? 8. Standard heroes to new season, is this being considered? Players with limited time will appreciate the option. Little difference to optional campaign. 9. Unique color pallet variations as ultra rare drops? 10. New female druid character models? Masculine sorceress clothing?
List of abilities that cause mobs to be vulnerable/slowed/stunned, list of abilities that increase crit strike chance and damage, mobility abilities, so on and so forth.
The main thing for me would be : The new classes AOE abilities and their effectivness (to know how can the class clear content) The new classe movment in general around the map (like tp or dash or things like that) The new classe special / original mechanics if it has any
Congrats man! Just because others get to do this too doesn't mean your not special. LOL it's less than 20 people who get to do this. I also think it is awesome how much you care about your people. You get this great opportunity and the first thing you leap on is what your community wants to know and see. Class act!
I would like to see information on what different builds will be available for the new class. Not necessarily the best builds but all possible options. Like theory crafting. 👊
That sounds great, what a trip. Just ask if they are going to be a bit more generous on the loot drops and that what does drop is cool, powerful and makes you wipe out lots of baddies for mega xp.
Looking at the price tag I'm expecting 3/4 amount of content of the base game. - I need to see the size of the map - Functionality/effectiveness of the mercenaries - Different builds for the new class - Raid? - Boring?
Hey dude great video I would like to know if new enemies and maybe new world bosses are coming down the road and not just in dlc ? Like to the open world p.s Keep up the great work 😁
Id love to see recording of the temper system being fixed. Bricked 2 more items last night just trying to roll even a low roll on something. Cant member the category, but it was only 3 options, rolled all 6 rolls on everything BUT what i was looking for, not even a low percent, just no roll period. 6 rolls, 3 options, 1 option just completely didnt roll. That absolutely should not happen. The temper system is broken.
Hope you get a good time! 1 question from me: Mercs, are they as good as each other but in different ways or is it as in diablo 2 when 1 merc (act 2) is a lot better then the other.
Question: I'm a Necromancer and have been since day one, but cosmetically the Barbarian and Rogue skins have had some awesome designs such as flaming heads, flaming bullhorns, a visable beating heart under ribcage etc.. When are we getting some bad ass Necro gear? Suggestion: specific class/subclass orientated skins, for example a blood build would have the option to purchase a skin with a skinless head with blood flowing the whole face ... Or Bone where they are skeletal esk just like the Pirates of the Carribbean when in moonlight .. allbeit a tad expensive I would love something more personal armour/transmog choices
Please ask them for, to make the closet save a build like it was in D3 skills, items saved to a profile. Now it's just stupid to Respec. So we can change builds more easily. Oh and first of all, enjoy the experience. Have fun Great videos
If they allow you to record all the skills passives and scroll over every paragon board special nodes so we can theorize about builds and paragon set ups.
Deffinitely wanna see some of the new class, wanna see what to expect in general with it. Maybe a slight skillls showcase kinda thing. Would love to see some of the new areas and enemies. Other than that just wanna know if its really worth it for any of the price points.
Interested specifically in seeing Spiritborn specific game mechanics that are new and would provide a fresh experience to the genre. Is this a truly new class or does it scratch the paladin itch? Are there any parallels to previous classes? Thanks for doing this for us Darth. Good luck.
Open-ended question to see what the devs actually care about: "Personally for you, what do you care about the most when it comes to the long-term vision for the game?"
if you get a chance to talk to adam or any of the devs let them know how the community feels about tempering and class balance atm. i really want the expansion to be good but those base things are going to make it a struggle
All I want to see is the devs saying "Yes we will no longer waste your time by repeating all the dumb shit, more mobs, faster leveling and better end game"
The fact they are going to tell you not to show bugs so we can make sure they are fixed before it comes doesn’t give me alot of hope. I’d prefer full transparency personally and just say yes they see this bug it is getting fixed.
I'm so happy that your hard work continues to bring you success. Honestly the only reason I'll buy this expansion is because of your input/review/feedback.
