The average person would not appreciate how much cardio fitness you need for boxing. You really can't carry unnecessary weight on your frame, even if it's muscle. You just tire more quickly

That was a very good first lesson. The trainer did a great job and is a good teacher. The leg slap exercise is a nice idea to learn to read your opponent and develop footwork and fitness.
