I Learned What The Best Time To Text Your Ex Is

For the past day and a half I’ve been scouring the internet, running polls and doing research into bipolar disorder (of all places) to pinpoint the exact time of day to text your ex.
I’m happy to announce that I’ve come to a conclusion.
Based on my research the very best time of day to text your ex is going to fall between the afternoon and late afternoon hours (Approximately 12PM - 7PM) with a special emphasis on 3PM-4PM.
How did I determine this?
Three ways:

I always did 10 am on a weekday because I know he’s at work and not with a new partner at that moment probably. I don’t want it to be during lunch. It gives him a lot of the day to think about how to respond, if he wants to take a few hours to respond, but still without a significant other being there to look over his shoulder. I got a response every time.

I disagree about those best times. Afternoon is during work and early evening is during dinner/chores/exercise, etc. My ex and I were late night texters during the relationship and seem to be the same post break up. At least we were until my ex went MIA, so now I’m back to NC.

My ex and I broke up in July due to him priorities his career. I respected that and we stayed friendly with each other with him initiating conversation for the first 3 weeks. We then stopped as he was getting busier and I felt like I needed to go NC to heal. He did still reach other when I went quiet saying congratulations for having a new niece. But we didn't go into a full conversation. 2 weeks later, he randomly voice note me asking me to meet up and we did for 3 hours dinner. He initiated saying he's been missing me but work is his main priority. We made out and he took me home. We texted for 2 days and stopped. I want to see him again but what should I do?

Aside: You shouldn't wear headphones while you ride your bike, or drive for that matter. It might hinder you from hearing an emergency vehicle, someone honking their horn, etc.

did no contact and it went really good, but eventually things happened and he got upset about the thought of another guy trying to date me and he pulled away and he asked for no contact because he said he doesn't want me to be in his life anymore. He said "why would i waste time on getting someone back when i could have someone new" and he kept hiding how he felt away from me and just kept pushing me away. My plan is to go no contact for 45 days because he seemed really upset and I'll eventually break the ice and see if he's open to talking to me again.

Mine just texted me this at 1:35 am after three months of him ending things and my first 13 days of no contact posting videos of me doing Muay Thai, aerial dance, baking, dancing, smiling, laughing, makeup: hey, just thought it would be in good faith to apologize and realize that it's not just you that's like this. all girls get the way you did and being as anxious and introverted as i was, i wasn't ready for that. hopefully we can both peacefully part ways. i'm sure you're totally over me, as i was really never that special or interesting to begin with. Then he blocked me so I can’t respond to him. Why?

In my opinion, he probably has low self-esteem. People who talk that way ("I was never special") have low self-esteem. They assume everyone is lying if they argue otherwise and often don't feel good enough for relationships - because they either see themselves as too pathetic to be loved, or constantly feel like they'll be hurt. So they end it to have the control. Sending that and then blocking is cowardly. Sometimes people who have LSE like to reopen those wounds, and get a weird boost from feeling like a victim, so they don't want anyone attempting to say that they actually are good or anything like that. I'm sorry. Doesn't sound like this guy would have treated you any better even if he hadn't blocked you.
