littlesimper the seasonal flu can be lethal as well, but this one is much worse lol. Let’s not downplay it, if it’s out of control it can kill millions of people. The flu has a fatality rate of 0.1% compared to covid which is 0.8% in China and in Iran, 16%!

@@Taylor_R When I read the original comment my mind went "wow, what a partypooper he is". And then when I saw Tay's comment it was like I realized how our mindset can shape our surroundings. My standard negativity mindset blinded me of different qualities people can have, and I'd just stroll around criticizing people without seeing how awesome diversity of thought can be. Damn, what a lesson I got just by reading youtube comments. Also I died on the nails, they are freaking perfect.

Oh wow, what an amazing artist! Even just the watercolor-esque painting at the beginning had me gasping. Also a question for you Taylor, how well do you speak Japanese? Was there a translator there for this video? I remember you learning Japanese for your job, but you were always very humble about your skills - maybe too humble? Languages are so fascinating and I'm sure a lot of your viewers would love to know more about how you've adapted to the cultures you've been exploring in this way.

This is why I love Japan. For every craft, someone takes it to this beautiful extreme- and it makes it really easy to get excited about things you never thought mattered. I hardly ever even paint my nails, but this makes me LOVE nail art.

Transparent/translucent/jelly gel polish. Gel polish is easier to smoothly blend colors like that imo.

That was a great price!!! I pay half of that at my regular salon and the artwork is NOTHING CLOSE TO THOSE MASTERPIECES! Your Tokyo videos have inspired me to open my Japanese language books again. Taylor is slowly living out everyone’s favorite episode of America’s Next Top Model: the makeover episode. I have short, brittle nails so I am too embarrassed to paint them/get them professionally done. But MAN, I would L O V E to have those nails!! They’re so cute!! My favorite part was definitely the stained glass gradient she put down; so gorgeous! Also the Kirby, because how can you not love him??
