Don't beat yourself up so much Sarah, consider it a learning experience and just move on. One of the reasons that everyone loves you and your videos so much is because you are honest with us. You show us everything warts and all. So showing us that when you rush sometimes you forget things, and sometimes those things turn around and bite you in the behind, is all part of the process. Step back take a breath or two, and go back at it. We are all behind you 1,000%!

As an old school low voltage systems integratior, we have a saying - plug it in and see what color smoke comes out of it. The fact that you have wired this car with two models of fuse boxes, a completly different engine, and modern ECU with this minimal damage on the first go is a huge testament to your electrical prowess. A small setback that will just add to the feeling of accomplishment when you finally scorch the asphalt with this beast. We are all behind you. You got this!

Sarah, I have a suggestion for you. While you’re at this electrical testing phase, with the engine not running, the expected current draw on the battery will be minimal, like only a few amps. So, if you were to connect a headlight bulb in series with your main positive battery cable, a short circuit will no longer let the smoke out, instead the headlight bulb will light up. It acts as both a current limiter and as a “trouble light” while testing. Keep up the great work!

It may feel like dumb mistake to forget the grounds, but with all the work you are doing and having to switch between all systems in the car and taking the work to completion it's easy to miss something that seems that simple. Don't be too harsh on yourself, you're doing all the work yourself unlike most other places that have several people working on one vehicle, each in charge of one part of the project. At least the only losses were an hour and a fuse box, and a reminder that the smallest, sometimes obvious things can be forgotten.

Weird. A floating MR2 and a ground issue both in the same video. Thx for the entertaining videos.

I think everone has run over this kind of speed bump. Enthusiam overpowers system thinking and you get some kind of slap reset. All it proves is that we are passionate about what we do, and human in how we do it. That's why we stay, because you're one of us and not afraid to acknowledge it.

A very important fact. When dealing? With grounded shielding only grounded at one end. Otherwise you're making a circuit. And the interference will be worse, not better. I was called the service assistant one ti'm as an outside consultant. This is what I Did for my money. And? Sister had shielded wiring. That was grounded at both ends. I spent 45 minutes there.Cut four groundwires at a thousand dollars a wire. They had paid huge amounts of money trying to get this problem fixed. Not understanding the concept of the shielding. Also, if you're still getting interference, go buy yourself some capassengers. This will make a filter and clean it up

Would you care to expound? How many mf? & 15- 20 VDC working voltage? If the cap is TOO big it doesn't filter anything, just re-transmits it. CORRECT?? TY

I have actually eaten rattlesnake - at Pappadeaux in Houston. It honestly tastes like chicken, but is greasier and a softer texture more like lobster meat. Love the Celica build. Great humor and weird outfits. Perfect!

Anyone else wish that Sarah work on your project car? Finding someone that dedicated with so much attention to detail is just next to impossible! I would hand over my 95 Celica GT-Four any day to have her do her magic on it!!!
