i love his response to being charged at by Etce though: "dude, that's not how you play the game" then why did it work? simple, because you weren't expecting it, and your aim a was off. Etce's wasn't. #toptenanimemoments
Haha I remember this one, GGs! Actually you don't have to be afraid of a Tenta Brella especially when you're playing such a mobile weapon like the inkbrush. Tenta Brella has the hardest time killing fast moving targets because of its start up time and how easy it is to miss some pellets to not get the 1hko. I would be in for a rematch any time again!
@Etce Wadsm isn't just a Splatoon RU-vidr ... he was part of the German Team "Backsquids" ... and is Vice Champion of the Splatoon 2 World Championship (2017). They just lost versus the Japanese Team in the Grand Final.
Ink Mines were my favorite in the first game, but they were definitely better in the first game too. My main back then was Inkbrush Noveau so I appreciate you using it. I use the Octobrush regular now so I like Autobombs the best now. Interesting to see someone use them so well.
Instead of running into the enemys base with a powerclam, use the inkbrush to get in their base where they won't see the person with the powerclam jumping to you. Then ez win as long as your teammates don't unexist. Edit: grabs clams so you can score and scream THIS WAY! cause some people are silly
Most of the time in my matches when someone does that the team is struggling defending while the brush is calling "This Way" and dies seconds later. I don't trust that strategy anymore. Another option is to throw a clam near their goal so that when you approach with 9 it becomes your power ball. I also saw that strategy but to the opposite extent in the World Championships, in overtime (if winning) throw clams outside the stage so there are fewer clams for the other team to have a chance to make a power ball
@@corgikun2579 I have played brush many times and it is really about not being obvious that you are there. I ussualy hide on an enemy wall and they jump over ya. If you get caught it is usually you putting down too much ink or someone respawned and saw you. It can fail if you don't have half the map inked.
I am FLOORED by how well you made this work. Ink mines always seem to be the perfect crippling assist, and they definitely did exactly that in this vid! I'm surprised that he didn't get ANY ink mine kills tho, you'd think 35 damage would be enough to finish someone off at some point 🤔
I don't know if I mentioned, but my stolen Switch was found yesterday! Now I can finish up my Sub Power up meme set and keep on rolling with the Squid Beakons. Good stuff.
Try it in Turf war. It's quité hard at the start, but eventually you get better. I'd recommend you to start with the vanilla kit, splat bombs are a great complement to the inkbrush
I like the ink mines, but I have never seen them used this way, very cool. I also tend to do better when I'm just messing around with gear I'm not familiar with.
Fun fact, if you hit a person directly with point sensor, they will die I threw one randomly once and someone used splashdown and it smacked him on the head and killed him. Threw it and it directly hit someone else another time and got the kill again
I still love the old ink mines literally because they would one shot most of the time the new ones are pretty cool but splatty tims 1 mines will forever be better
It is just me or are the new way Splatfests work still a bit broken. I mean I fought against my own team alot of times and we still earn clout from doing that and so does everyone who plays that match. So it's like we're getting clout without the other team (In this case Team Retro) getting any clout meaning that the popular team will always win since they'll have to fight against eachother a lot
Battling against your own team never counts and never has counted towards the final score (seriously, if that were the case than the more popular team would have won more often in splatfests before). The score which counts towards the clot is area you covered + winning bonus (basically just like in regular turf war except synergy, ×10 and ×100 bonus also exist) in standard mode or the losing team's power (just the power and nothing else ‒ the losers don't get any points) in pro. The points you have gotten are likely for the regular splatfest rank meter whose system hasn't changed except gaining a new digit for the synergy bonus.
As someone who was Team Retro I was cheated with the bait and switch cause of the stupid Shifty Station and this is the second time I was overswept and just.... *sigh* I'm never lucky man...Why is this game never fair? 😭😭😭😭😭
