Congrats on your 18 months, girl! They are definitely touching those shoulders, you about to start acting real funny, nah!😁 thanks so much for this update❤❤❤
I am 4 years in. I'm loving my journey. I don't try to look at the growth too often but when I do a growth check every 6 months I see it and get soooo excited. I love doing a video of my journey just as a reminder where I started from. Of course I'm loving your locs. I love your creativity. You seriously rock each style. Stay blessed!
That’s amazing! I’m so glad you’re loving it! And I strongly agree, video documentation truly shows you how far your hair has come! And I appreciate you! Thank you so much 🙏🏾💕
So stunning! I need this lip combo! Alsoooo I just passed my 3 month mark. 😅 I love them, but got a wayyyyys to go! You’re the reason I decided to do it 🤘🏾
Hey Keke, you inspired me so much I am going to be 4 months next Monday. I love you queen, congratulations on the lengthhhh. We never know how to acttttttttt lolll 💖💖
Loving your 18 month Anni👑...because of watching you I started my locs 8 months ago...loving every part of the journey. 😊 Thank you for your sharing your journey, your vibe and your energy ✨️ Blessings always🙌🏽
Looking good as always KeKe BEAUTIFUL! 🤍🔥💯 & I’m right here with you girl. 🙃 I’m still hanging in here too at 18 months! Congrats to us both! 🎉🎈🎊 Yaaaay
Congrats on getting to 18 months in this beautiful journey! Your locs look fabulous and have grown a lot!! I'm coming up on 20 months in a few days. I've got some of those short fat babies too lol, but I'm enjoying my journey and still trusting the process!
I love it!!!!!! I feeling all of this glory. Mine just started touching my back and omggggg you can't tell me NO-THING🤣🤣🤣 I'm 22 months loc'd and I'm loving it!
Thanks so much for sharing your journey. I too have been on the fence but fascinated by locking my hair for 15 years! I’m 70 now, first went natural at 17 or so, back to perms entering the corporate world upon leaving grad school at 21 or so then natural again at 55. That’s a long, long time! Looking at your videos taught me the tiny little twists I’ve done are what you used to start your micro locks. My reluctant to COMMIT is what’s made me take and leave them out twice. I’m going to watch all of your videos this weekend and redo my micro twists next week. Let the journey begin, I’m excited!!!! Thanks again for the encouragement and looking forward to your support.💋
Keke! Congrats girl, I am loving your loc journey. Act up season is upon us and I can’t wait to see it in full effect. I’ll be a year locked next month and I’m real hyped to get to 18mo. Your makeup is looking great as well 💕
Congratulations on 18 months LOCD!!! 🎂🍦🎊🎈🎉 I’m 16 months in the 26th, so 2 months later. I’m so free and happy about my Locs too! I’m experiencing those same thick fat ends; a part of the process Hon. Some people crochet needle them back in tightly. You’re such an inspiration to the Loc Community; especially for those of us who are 2 years and under! Thanks so much for sharing! 🙌🏽🥰
Thank you so much! That means a ton! 🙏🏾💕and happy soon to be 16 months!! I love the fat ends but if they get out of control, I’ll definitely use this method!
Your channel and naps are the new black just inpire me so much such positive energy. I was going to do instant locs but everything so far has been against me doing it. Think i'll listen and go the diy route, this journey looks so beautiful to experience, i can't wait to grow with my hair
Congratulations on the 18 month journey….I love your videos and all of the information that you share….I have started my micro loc journey because of you and I am loving the process….thank you keep the videos coming…..THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️ 5 months in
Hello I love watching your Channel all the hairstyles you do and even some clippings and wigs you look great in all your hairstyles God bless you Happy Easter
"Like a poot in the wind" lmao I had to rewind and watch that again to make suer I heard you correctly. Imma have to use that. Congrats on 18 months, your locs look amazing!
Well I faced this same dilemma when I wanted to start too. What I did was, imagine myself with the matured loc size and also considered time for retightening. Since I'd be doing my own reties, I opted for a number range I could comfortably do without being overwhelmed. And after watching keke and other loc'd youtubers, I was able to make a decision on the size and I'm still loving them 5 months later. My 2 cents sis😊😊
You are so adorable!!!!! Love your video!! Your locs are gorgeous 💕 yup I agree with you. In July will be 5 years since I've had small traditional locs, they're almost down to my waist!! Love them!!!
Your microlocs are amazing! So beautiful 😍. My journey started on 11/7/21 so 5 months. Loving every minute of this journey! Best hair decision for me as well. ❤
Started my locs in October, I just hit the ) month mark on 4/8, I’m excited for the my one year loc anniversary in October!! Cheers to continuous growth, not only with our hair, but in life as well 🥂
I hit month 30 at the beginning of April. I can't believe it's been that long already. I also have some big ends and have embraced them as well. Love your hair and congratulations on 18 months! You are right, it really does fly by!
Congrats J! We're a month apart,,, have the fat ends, funny tails, no frizz, seeing length & volume and lovvvvving every step (or rather most steps). Just the other day I discovered I can do i high bun with most locs in! Was so jazzed! I'm 90% matured, the ends of my front & side locs are the ones yet to mature at the ends, otherwise people have started to notice that they are locs. Hands down best hair decision I made! Wish I knew sooner haha
I'm 11 months in. Time sure does fly fast. I've had about 5 different sizes before settling myself with microlocs. I think laziness kept me from taking them down because there were times I wanted to. But I love them so much. I can't wait for mine to get to your length. You're my definitely my #1 microloc inspiration.
Congratulations on month 18! I will be 1 yr loc'd on Juneteenth! I agree, this is the best hair decision I've made! I love my babies, they're almost completely loc'd. I added some color last month and you can't tell me swat! I wish I would've loc'd my hair sooner as well. I can't wait to see my growth 😀 at month 18.
Loveee your locs ur my biggest inspiration ❤️❤️ I'm 4 months in and girl I'm obsessed. I love every step of the process including the shrinkage and frizz. I especially love the frizz. Can't wait to get to 12 months and start seeing some length imma be acting up!!
Yaaaaaaasssss get into this length!!! Congrats on 18 months! You were an inspiration when I started my locs and it’s beautiful to see your mane grow into its glory!
Listen, I am obsessed with your hair! #loccrush🥰 I thought about starting locs for 2 years. I watched your videos for the last 2 months and you were my final push to move forward. My install date was 4.7.22, only after 5 days I LOVE my hair!!❤
Lovely Hair. I miss my locs Soooo much. The excitement that you have for your crown is Amazing! I was happy once I was able to have my hair in a ponytail.
Hey Keke, congratulations on your 18th month locked. Your excitement is infectious. LOL. I'll be celebrating 9th months locked on my interlocking microlocs April 16th.
I'm also 18 months in (10/1/20) and i LOVE this for me. Best hair decision i made for myself. I've tried everything on my hair. Dye, multiple big chops, relaxers, blow outs, braids, fades etc. and none of them gave me the freedom and happiness that my locs do. i can't wait to reach BSL. I'm really gonna be a menace 😂 lol, jk. But yesss, having microlocs is so freeing and they're so fitting to my style. Congrats on 18 months!❤
Congratulations on your 18 months I’ve just entered my 18 months also. Loving the journey and great to see your locs touching your shoulders mines are just resting on the shoulders too…..you go girl.
Oh my God I love you LOL I've been watching a lot of your videos lately. You have a really good vibe. And you remind me also of Keke palmer, and Maxine Shaw LOL personality wise and some look similarities with both lol. You are funny as f***
Yes! I started my loc journey in Nov 2020 and I have been following your journey since your first loc video. I love it! They look so pretty. Shoulder length locs do hit a little different lol
Lol I love your personality! 💜 I'm 8 months in and my hair is starting to drop now and I'm like losing it! Haha this September will be 1 year and I'm so excited to see the length and the wiggle it's got by then 💁🏽♀️
Congratulations on the the 18the month journey. I am going to be starting really soon as soon as I find a loctician. I have been waiting for my hair to grow out a little more so i can start the journey. Love your vibe. Great video thanks.
Hey this is my first 5 days with grey 2 strand twists and extensions. I'm super anxious and happy at the same time. Going to take down my updo tonight to see exactly what I am working with. Love your excitement for your locs, just subscribed.
Your locs are simply gorgeous. I'm in the middle of a retie, procrastinating my booty off. I should've been done😂 I'ma have to start a new retie at this rate 🥴
Omg i’m glad you spoke on your chunky ends because I have a lot of them and the Retie has definitely been a struggle but I love them tooo! I am currently 8 months in! I love my babiesss!
I'm one month in (I started some in November but took them out to do them better) & loving it! Your hair was the reason I stopped being a commitmentphobe after wanting locs for years! Lol💜
I started my microlocks 4 days ago and I'm loving them so far! I can't wait to get as far as you. You're one of my loc models, yours are sooo beautiful!!
Your hair looks so pretty!!!!!!! Have you thought of adding jewelry to them? It would look so pretty on you. Especially when you have your nose jewelry with it. Tomorrow, I'll be 7 months locked and I have so many locs with fat ends. It's difficult to interlock, but I tend to loosely interlock my hair to prevent tension and tightness. I guess the fat ends help me stop at a certain point that keeps my scalp free from tension. But lately, my fat ends are looking less frizzy and starting to condense. They're still big but not double/ triple to size of the rest of the loc like they used to be.
Ooh... they touching the shoulders guurrll😂😂😂. You're bout to be disrespectful 😂😂😂 Oh and you inspired me to start my microloc journey. And I'll be 5 months on the 23rd of this month. Keep being an inspiration. And the random green are everything.🥰🥰
You are so adorable, glad I found this channel. I've watched to many Loc videos. I'm on the fence about installing LOCs.....but I simply love them. I were my hair in twists...But.......UGH! After watching this video, I'm just going to do it. A couple more weeks of intense conditioning to build my hair up....and just do it! Thanks Ms, KeKe! Love! Love! Love! watching your journey and Loved your hair all the way!
Yessss hair come on Your hair is everything I have a question I have a "short" spot in my hair and thats whats keeping me from getting started Sis tell me to stop playing and just start
i feel you on doing more styles with locs than loose hair cause one thing about me i’m put mine in some corn rows n i could never achieve the look before i loc’d my hair 😭 i’m almost 7 months loc’d in 🥰
You inspired me to go ahead to get microlocs and do the 2 strand method. I started mine in October 2021 and think they were done by the Thanksgiving. Totally feel you when you said only wished I started sooner! Absolutely love my hair 💕! It’s the best!
Amazing! well done for you 18 months loc journey she look amaziiiing! I am at just 2 weeks and a half. But started on texlax hair. Cant wait to be at 18 months
