About Ronan. Taylor found the mothers blog (maya thompson who is cretited as a co writer) and was so touched by it so she reached out to the mom and wrote this song with inspiration from the blog. So she never knew him. All the proceeds go to cancer research and the ronan foundation (50/50). After the taylors versions and stuff she reached out again and asked to place it on an album so it wouldn’t be another stolen song. She has stayed in contact with the family ever since. She has only performed it live twice. One for a cancer gala and once on the 1989 tour when ronans family was in the audience. She has also said she will never perform it without the familys concent. It’s anpther example of who she is as a person. Also the moment i knew is a perfect song. Love your reactions kyle🫶

I love that you loved Message In a Bottle that much, cause I swear no one else but me appreciated that song when the vault was released. In regards to the reviews; Taylor Swift has a very vocal hater following. What I mean is that as vocal as her fanbase is, her haters can sometimes be even more vocal. Usually the haters will mass review her albums and give them bad ratings. I never rely on Pitchfork, because they tend to give women artists a very low score and POP albums in general get a very low rating from them. Red to me is an amazing album because the listener gets a little bit of everything, but I also acknowledge that I'm biased based on my sentimentality towards an album that I've loved since 2012

Don't let people fool you. Taylor grew up RICH. That farm was more like a holiday house farm than a working farm 😂 I think her parents did try to raise her and her brother more normally...but her father is such a huge financeer that he was able to make a huge investment into her first record label and move the entire family from Pennsylvania to Nashville so that Taylor could break into the country music scene. Her family is so well off that I'm pretty sure they knew the Kennedy's before she dated one of the grandsons just after she dated Gyllenhaal. Whereas Gyllenhaal did grow up in wealth amongst Hollywood elite...but he also had a super grounded family that made him and his sister do projects like Habitats for Humanity during their school holidays. Yeah, the lyric in I Bet You Think About Me is misleading and somewhat dodge. It's for dramatic purposes, I suppose 😂
