I'm Back! An explanation of what's been happening and where we are now. 

When my mother was dying in the hospital, crocheting was what kept me together and sane. So look at it as Alana time where you are getting well crocheting and helping others also. Hope my story can help you. Love seeing you again.

I am really sorry this happened to you. Let me say this too, when you come upon a manager that behaved the way that woman did to you, it's best to report that to hospital administration, even if you have to send it to the facility director. I had a situation like that except it was my supervisors manager who was the beast! At my wits end I was going to retire early; but instead decided to write him up for his disrespectful behavior and sent to his boss, the assistant facility director. It put a spotlight on him and the floodgates opened. People like that won't be dealt if leadership is left unaware. ❤. Keep your chin up! God will make a way for you! 🙏🏾

I for myself believe everything happens for a reason. Went through a job loss, to become care giver for my mamma. Big big changes. We were lucky, my husband's job coverd bills. We had to spend less of what we were accustomed to. But we manage. This week a new journey begins. I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Had BC in 2005, survivor for 18 years with out reoccurance so gratefull foe that. I have watched my then kids 17 and 15 grow into adults get married etc. And here we go again, round 2. Looking forward to being able to watch you crochet and what ever else you dive into. Be strong, you got this. ❤️♥️

I went through a similar situation on a job many years ago and the stress is not worth it 😢 so leaving was the best decision even as hard as it was don’t let her take you down like that she’s not worth it ❤ Hold your head up and remember God doesn’t close a door without opening another 🙏😇

Glad to see you!! I'm so sorry you've been going through some rough stuff. I understand what you mean about grieving your job. I left my highly stressful job after 26 years. At first I was good I received a buyout. I was excited to do stuff at home and relax some. I thought I could easily find a job. We'll that's not the reality. Iwork part time with my DIL cleaning office buildings these days. It will definitely get better. Take care. I'm looking forward to your next video!!

I understand what you went through and, are are still going through. I was working for a hospital for 39 years . I was moved into a new position after getting Covid for the 2nd time, each time I was affected more so by after effects of covid. I was not able to do bedside nursing, so they put me in an office and did patient call backs after covid testing and patient discharge. I worked 1-1/2 years doing this. I had a change of a boss, x 2, the last boss was there only 2 months. She and the Human resources head honcho came into my office on a tuesday and said on Friday it was my last day. They closed my position, and they said I could apply for another job opening with in our hospital, but I would not transferered to another position. I asked why, and they said it couldn't be done that way! I was devastated. I almost walked out that day. I got all my vacation pay and last check. I had a 401k that I was fully vested in. So I cashed it out. That was 2 years ago. I became 63 and applied for earl social security. I am not deemed disabled because I could still work from home. So that was my option. The devastation I felt after this is still with me. Just know it will get better and with prayers and Gods guidance it will get better.

Take out some yarn you've been saving and make yourself a pretty but easy shawl. Simple mindless stitches, let the yarn talk . Works for me.

OMGOSH, I'm just so glad to see you and know that you guys are alright. You definitely don't need to apologize, we totally understand ! I do believe in you and that you can make your channels bigger. Everybody's different. You felt good getting out and contributing to your family. I love when I don't have to go anywhere, and just stay home, and work on my crochet and knitting projects. I'm behind on my channel right now, because of things going on in my family and I've lost a few subscribers. I'm going to try my best to get one up this week, I hope. Hi, I am about debt counselor and I was told I don’t collecting my monthly goal and in two months I will lose my job . I am 58 yrs old who is going to hire me. I still have years before I retire. I have been sad 😢 I have no skill in making and selling. I have a Bachelors degree 📜 but it seems like no one is hiring educated people. If any one has advice I would appreciate it. Thanks so much❤

I think the hospital owes you grievance compensation there is no way that you should've been "silently fired " that way. Seems to me HR should've fired her and promoted you to her position ! You quitting was out of mental health survival. They should offer you paid leave to ease your obligations till you can figure out what you need. No way, as a professional adult, any ol person can come along and take your stability like that. ~sorry to rock the boat, but Im mad for you ! Its Ridiculous ! Edit to add more, i keep thinking.. You would have retired with excellent medical... no way she can just decide to take that from you. This is not right.
