Zorrin there is a pipe that connects this place to Creepy Steeple in one of the houses here in the town so you don’t have to walk through the forest full of monsters. It wasn’t in the original game so the developers put it here in the remake to help players get around easily

Notice me Sen-Pipe! When first watching "For Pigs the Bell Tolls", I thought of Kingdom Hearts 2 (which I played through to completion back when it was new). On reflection in Thousand Year Door's 20th anniversary year, I realize that Nintendo was likely going for a parody/homage to Castlevania, released on NES and SNES systems. Especially with the eerie atmosphere and the naughty, boredom motivated Dooplighost in the tower. Thank goodness they mitigated the backtracking complaint for the remake, otherwise we would need to track Twilight Trail in its entirety no less than five times, enemies included. Watching Zorin embrace the eternal twilight is gold. (Sorry Isaac and Dracula, no Symphony of Eternal Night here. lol) I'm hugging my plush of Fat Nuggets the Demon Pig from Hazbin Hotel as I watch this.

One of my favorite chapters for several reasons. Hope you had fun with the Welcome Goomba XD the enemies here are no joke. Flurrie's Gale Force is really helpful in this chapter.

Fun fact: Death Battle used the Twilight Town NPCs in their Beerus vs Sailor Galaxia episode. They were the inhabitants of two separate planets that greeted Beerus and Galaxia when they landed on their respective planets. Galaxia controlled her side to kneel before her, while Beerus just destroyed his planet while getting back into the fight. Great video Zorrin!😁👍❤️

So I learned that from Percy Jackson first. Which is based on Greek mythology which includes Cerci the sorceress from the Odyssey who turned *men* into pigs.

if there's ONE thing i onnly had to hate about the remake compared to the OG.... its the fact that the devs took away the ability to press a button to scroll up and reread past text from an npc when talking to them. shit like that was crucial when talking to ppl like Twlight town's shopkeeper's wife XD
