I did an experiment this past weekend. On clothes that I thought wasn’t good brands I decreased the price to $2 with shipping. I had sold 15 items and I am a new seller. It also brought eyes to higher priced items and I sold 5 items.
It was a lot easier for me to manage my time as a nurse. I went to work for 12 hours, I was off 12 hours. I was off 3-4 days a week. As a new reseller if I'm not doing something with my family of, cooking or cleaning, I'm always working on my business. I miss having 3-4 days off per week!
Same here I have zero time to myself until I drop into the bed at night. I am a 3 year reseller. I watch my grand baby all day, work while he naps, do all the housework, The laundry, the bills, the shopping, keeping all the kids engaged with each other (5 kids & 10 grandchildren). If am not stuck in the house I am out sourcing which I love. I skipped church last week to get my eyebrows done. I am hoping to hire someone to prep items, photograph and set up drafts for me starting in January 2024. Hang in there!
Regarding the six-figure income, not only do only 10% of people make that or more than that, but the median income for the entire country is $37,586 per year per person. That means half the country makes less than that! And $37k is a good income for my area.
@@dailyrefinement It is, and how much you need also varies. I know 6-figures is barely scraping by in the Bay Area, but in South Carolina that will buy you a mansion and a Jag!
Specializing is 100% way to go. I went from 100$ to 5000$ a month side hustle selling and refurbishing pc parts for resale in 1.5 years scaling. Then I got greedy , went broad after getting sucked into my brothers investment/ business idea. Since going broad iv lost money having my time split between to many niches. Currently rehoning my craft and going back to being a specialist.
When my son bent his arm rather than breaking it, I first took him to a dr. that was confident in how to treat him but when I asked how many times he had treated a bent arm he said this was his first time. When I took him to a children's hospital that dr. told me he had done about 300 of them. Guess which dr. I chose, lol? I like your thoughts about specializing. I'm trying to figure it out what that's going to look like for me. Thanks for the encouragement!
I was 53 before I got reading glasses A friend we call Uncle Mel is 86, never ever needed reading or any glasses. Tell yourself you have great eyesight and you will. Tell yourself you need glasses and you will need glasses.
Sold something instantly yesterday because it was a good item. Good needed items sell fast. I hate the pile we pay to move 😂. It is very frustrating. Reseller dilemma!
I know this is off-topic but do you feel you hear or see things in your new space? I ask because I can see orbs around you and it's normal knowing that you have acquired other people's items that may have passed away. And I spend a low amount of hours on my business and my sales reflect it. I spend around 10 hours a week part-time.
This is something to consider when reselling used clothes and items that seem personal IMO.... as ridiculous as it may seem. Maybe Chris can make another channel "Refinement Paranormal" 👻
AMEN!!!! THE MORE SPACE THE MORE PROBLEMS! I HAVE A 3 BR HOUSE AND SITTING ON 4 ACREA ..😒 I think I'm a hoarders!!! 1000 pair of jeans sitting in one room!
I am a security tech which I took down the analog camera and replaced with digital. This issue, I had to make space, I took it to local swap meet, I sold it all for $200 which I didnt expect, I was going to throw it away. Downey California ❤😂😂😂
I have been using cloth bags to store electronic parts. How can I sale this stuff? Offer up? Or other local. I am local, I don’t like mailing stuff, but found a whole market in shipping.. Just need to make time how to mail stuff out. Do you have videos on shipping stuff out threw mail orders.. thanks. Also cleaning more storage, i just don’t like taking to salvations army and they throw it away.. thanks again. Downey California 😂😂😂
Tbh it takes me about 10 mins to post my 5 items a day. My inventory is slready nice and neat. After ive listed my items, ive slready won for the day. It shouldnt be sn all day thing unless u are using that time sourcing more items. Listing is literally the easiest and fastest to do.
It seems to me not listing everyday is like having a brick and mortar business but only open it when you feel like it. Sure glad the grocery store doesn't run their business that way lol. So I'm taking a break pretty much getting my in order then I'm going to attack this mess I have.
