I was questioning Bobby's choice of Shanahan until I heard her speech.. She was on point, articulate , and she actually cares about the people of this country..Kennedy/Shanahan 24!!

I just watched the entire 2 1/2 hour of RFK‘s announcement and I am completely inspired. She is smart, conscious articulate well informed lovely really. I can clearly see why RFK picked her. I was moved to tears. I love that she’s young I’ve been saying that for years. I love that she’s biracial. I love that she’s an activist. I love that she’s a mother. I love that she was raised in poverty. I love that she has such knowledge of the digital world all of those things are a huge advantage, I was already a huge Kennedy supporter and this has taken it up to the next level for me. Completely stoked. Don’t take other peoples word for it or watch tiny clips take the time to go and watch the video of her as well as her live speech. Dare to think for yourselves.

Attending Nicole Shanahan's announcement in Oakland was a powerful experience! Her vitality, strong femininity, and courage were striking. A self-made woman from an immigrant Chinese mother and an Irish American father (now deceased) who battled mental health and alcoholism, Shanahan doesn't fit the mold of a typical politician. She appeared as a self-made mother and ordinary person (however extremely intelligent and authentic) stepping far beyond her comfort zone, willing to risk everything and face intense scrutiny to enact change.
