Hi will . Unfortunately the manufacturing ability in this country has been removed..by successive governments over the years. Even down to producing our own energy supply.we are now reliant on other countries for our needs. What took centuries to achieve has taken a few decades to destroy. Anyway will there is nothing more to say about your videos other than brilliant they have always been very informative and interesting to watch. I'm really glad to see that you and your family are all safe and well.. Will I found over the years that there are sections of canal that don't appear on any maps . Especially in industrial areas.of the north east. ??? These are hidden gems . mainly built to transport armaments .??? What I liked about them is that you never see the c r t . As a wannabe solo boater (money… saving up), out of all the things to think about, my biggest concern is having to manage the big, busy lift bridges on my own! Holding traffic up for so long while the bridge opens, running back to the boat, unmooring, passing the bridge, then mooring up again before legging it back to the bridge to lower it! Is it a worry over nothing? Or is a windlass in hand to protect against angry, impatient motorists needed? 😂
