I love the squeaks of the fingers going up and down the strings. Not sure why, but I always think it adds another layer to acoustic performances. With that said, this is pure gold, guys. This song is hauntingly beautiful. Definitely on a short list of the most perfect songs. You guys absolutely nailed it. Such a great cover.

I was 4 or 5 when this was released, and to this day, whenever it comes on, if my family is around they all start singing 'oh oh oh I'm yo fwiend', as I mistakenly did as a kid. Some things you just never live down... lol

This is absolute perfection ! Anyone who dislikes this had to have been beaten by a guitar when they were kids and it busted their ear drums. The harmonies with the 2 guitars and voices soothes my soul so I can feel good about life for at least another night. You 2 kids are amazing and I wish you all the best

Wish I knew how we’ve gone from mixing studios the size of the Houston Mission Control to two dudes and one mic holed up in the guest bedroom, and still get audio as clean, as bright and as warm as this. OK, I concede we are dealing with exceptional raw material. Maybe that’s got something to do with it, haha. Carson’s covers are, as ever, on fire.

Add to that: They only captured audio from a Zoom H2. No separate tracks for vocals & guitars. They are wonderful musos but whatever Josh does in post is also magic. I'd love to know how he manages to put the sound in our ears like that, so cleanly. Very professional from very little. It makes publishing accessible to so many more of us - if we only knew how!
