I am currently dumping my every skill point in the fire spell tree. I also have jumped in place for a few hours now and I can leap over the castle walls in a single jump.

I was on the fence about picking this game up, but this was a fun watch, so i snagged the game. Here's a little something to help out.

This game gives me heavy Mount & Blade vibes, especially with the combat and overworld traversal. I haven't thought about those games in years, but it's making me wanna give them a revisit once I see more of this one's take on being a horse-mounted warmonger...

Great video! You might want to use the first unarmed skill. Its an upper cut that launches you and your enemy into the air. Its very useful for throwing enemies off cliffs, down stairs and into trees, ceilings and walls. :) It can also be used to get a good jump into wall climbing and wall running. Or to jump over enemies or objects. I use that and a 300 damage crossbow for most of my fighting.

I agree this is a great way to brand your channel. Instead of mainly Shadows of Doubt, make it mainly storytelling regardless of the game.

I'm glad I clicked on this after finding your Shadows of Doubt tips and tricks vids. Both of these games are so far up my alley it's unbelievable. And here I thought my enthusiasm for video games was getting stale.

You might like a few inputs into the arcane skill tree for those precious heal spells. You can also collect ingredients like mad and make some decent potions.

Heh, I just recently bought this game because it was on sale. A friend of mine was playing it and telling its great for the steamdeck. I'm gonna put that to the test. It is still in the state, kind of like SOD, where it uses more GPU than seems like it needs. Uses 99% of my 4080 at 240fps at 1440p so there is definitely some effects overdraw and some culling issues to be sorted. Looks like it should probably run SUPER well on a deck in a 3 to 5 watt setting. Cool video!

Game just had an update which finally adds the desert as a playable area. However the update is a little bugged, because when i equipped the hood you get, all my clothing item's that weren't equipped turnes into this hood...

I've been seeing games like this for years, and I hoped that the answer would pop up by itself, but in my line of the internet it hasn't. What engine is this? Is this from Rec Room at all? It seems very familiar with the games I've played with my younger siblings there. Just curious why I see so many games that look like this, graphically.

Played about 10 hours of this game. It hits a neat spot that not many other games have hit and I love it quite a bit. Though development is extremely slow, and the devs are not very receptive to suggestions and bug reports. They may claim to be receptive and be publicly receptive, but they hardly ever do anything with that feedback other than reply to it. I mean hell, look sensitivity is still based on FPS.

Well drat! Thanks to this video, I have to buy a new game. Thanks a lot buddy. 😂 😂 *EDIT* I have it now and it is a lot of fun. I have even developed a little strategy for dealing with those swarming mobs. I try to keep my distance and use the grappling hook to drag them to me. Once I get the basics all figured out, I think I'll really enjoy it.
