@@MrKhalsaman exactly. If they continued the story with the atmosphere of the first arc it would've been fine, but no, they had to make the MC too overpowered for his own good. (He became the strongest in the world in just a couple of months LMAO) He also don't have motivation to risk his life during missions since he can quite literally level up by doing basic excercise. Idk man, the beginning was good, everything after was just a shitshow.

There are 6 main action animators for this series, out of 6 only 3 participated in the first 2 episodes. Main animators do a lot of work, for example Kosuke Kato was a main animator for JJK he animated in 5 episodes even on a bad schedule. Solo Leveling had a very good production time. There's also very big game animators participating in ep5, 7,8

The manhwa cut out a lot of scenes and stuff due to the illustrators poor health so they didn’t want to drag it out hence why the anime has a lot of extra scenes. Those extra scenes were scenes from the novel that the manhwa cut out.

The art style and power fantasy is what carries this series, so don't go expecting any groundbreaking plots to happen. MC is weak in the beginning, then chances upon some lucky shit, then proceeds to punk the established powers in the world. Then do some obligatory JP shade, make the top dogs look like fodder, then MC swoops in to save the day. Don't get me wrong, I still love this series for being one of my firsts starting manhwas (also light novel as well). But I grew from that time, so I can say now that Solo Leveling is actually, for all this time, MID.
