In this Mumbo Jumbo Minecraft redstone video, Mumbo works on building a batman waterfall splitter entrance for my Hermitcraft Season 8 mega base. In Hermitcraft 8 Mumbo is all about peace love and plants, and the giant Minecraft mega base reflects this, but currently it's just a big Minecraft mountain with no inside. This new Minecraft redstone piston door is the first step to building out the Hermitcraft 8 base interior.

I love how happy Mumbo is when it works :3 Hey Mumbo, did you know moss doesn’t stick to slime or honey? It wouldn’t look out of place in the waterfall! Keep in mind it will be destroyed if pushed by a piston, but for the area around it you could blend it into the surrounding area. In nature moss LOVES waterfalls 👌

So just an idea for when you make this on the actual HC server: if you face the top of a furnace facing outward, it'll blend in much nicer with the surrounding stone than using a blast furnace. :-)

Too bad you can't place furnaces sideways so that the top will face outwards. But still, the back of a regular furnace would be less noticeable than the blast furnace. Leaf blocks would work too, as they're also non movable and will blend well with the overall look of the mountain.

@@emmasemple5270 It's like hermitcraft in the respect that it's a group of folks on youtube- as for a channel to go to, I'd recommend ilmango's. There's also a special where Mumbo toured, but that was a year ago. If it says anything they aquired bedrock in item form in survival just as something to do. It's incredible.

@@kvothekingkiller9097 It depend on where the wire is. could be inside some kind of ring shape thingy (or even a potato shape ahah) somewhere in front of the chair. if there is wall and roof (even a small one) the phantom would have issue flying into it on their own. Then it's just a matter of conveying the signal quick enough (which shouldn't be too difficult using either a chain of observer or a chain of sticky piston+redstone blocks )

You should add a custom music disc for the waterfall so it sounds like a waterfall; it would so cool (EDIT: or make a resource pack for flowing water, but that would get annoying outside your base, so maybe change something unused and place it near your base (such as changing the dispenser fail sound and placing a bunch of them by the waterfall)).

Use a 5 by 5 block of target blocks as the activation trigger. That way while flying you can shoot an arrow into it a fly into the base without having to land.

You should modify the bottom so that you can ride a boat in and out when the door is open, should be a minor change as water doesn't stick to slime or honey blocks, and could make for a cool water themed interior.
