In an old devblog from a few years ago, Brandon from SL0 goes in depth into just how complicated it was for them to create two handed guns that worked well. The handgun was simple, improvements with alignment systems got them the shotgun which featured in Duck Season, but it was the creation of a shoulder and clavicle system which allowed them to create two handed guns with stocks that actually functioned as a third point of contact on a body rather than just a modifier that would reduce recoil. Anyways, it was all stuff that I just had never even possibly could have thought of. It's like the move from 2D to 3D, 3D to VR to what SL0 are doing is just mind-boggling, and if it works as it's supposed to, you won't even notice what's happening behind the curtain.

I did it. thank you so much for tutorial. Was gonna spend $40 on Bonelab but decided instead to spend $400+ on assets and create it myself! woo!

I mean, Marrow1 is going to be easier to gain access to, for indie devs, in the future. So it wouldn't be too far-fetched to recreate much of bonelab in 24 hours using that.
