Prime Rib is actually more like Primal Rib. It's not the prime grade of meat, it's the primal rib cut with everything (rib eye, cap, rib meat, maybe bones). Prime grade prime rib must exist somewhere though.

Prime rib roast is THE favorite for me and my dad. This recipe is probably easier than a turkey - so maybe we'll do this for Thanksgiving instead of a turkey. Just whip up some mashed potatoes for the side good to go. Thanks for the great vid!

I bought a whole Prime Rib Roast from Sam's Club for $239, doing just a portion of it for Thanksgiving in my PBC. Won't put the wet rub under bones, but will season it on all sides and sear at end.

So here what we need to see next time you make a roast. Fillet it open like you did with the tinder loin and season it all over the inside and roll back up and tie it. Get more flavor throughout the roast

I have an idea that I would love to see. Cut the Flat of a Brisket into steaks...cut them with the grain the same as how you would Picanha. Leave the fat cap on...just like Picanha. Cook the point just like a traditional Brisket, but I would love to see some Brisket Steaks.

Update to my prime rib roast Was just under $13 US dollars a pound and 22 pounds / 7 ribs big Cash only @ webers meat in San Leandro By by $290 bucks But again $70 for 4 great meals is not bad Or local Black Angus restraunt is $40 for a meal including a little cut of Prime

Rolly: Hinge the ribs to the rest of the meat. So your first cut there hangs on by a lip. Then, when grilled, you rest on the bones and you don't need to truss.

Am on my way to buy a a whole roast right now.... with a whole roast ($200 us dollars) I get 2 roast (bones on or all cooked seperate) and a few great steaks after my knifes get done. Math is $200/ 4 great meals $50 to feed 4 real easy

This is one of the weirdest experiments pitmaster x has done! One side of the meat is seasoned completely differently to the other. Between the bone and the meat with a wet rub which seems like it would be delicious, and the other side with a pretty generic dry rub (which would be good as well, although nothing on the end of the meat at all). I think it should be one or the other... or both seasonings.

It’s because the animals aren’t full of antibiotics and steroids so the yield is lower. Taste is better though.
