Day of 2B release and I decided to try playing Charlotta. My stubby potato arms had to work so hard but the thing that hurt me the worst was 2B's 2H. And thus she spoke: No fly zone.

Does the skill gauge instead of cooldowns make her easier or harder? I personally find it harder to manage

it's not hard to manage but rather it isn't enough, they need to reduced all of the special other then the dash cancel by 1 guage and let us over spend the guage although this isn't her only problem with her but the shared skill guage is one of her major problem keeping her in mid tier, because she has a big counter which is to tap into your inner justin wong and play super lame due to her unable to do any real chip unlike other normal monster like soriz

I'd say it's harder to manage, yeah. Instead of being able to know you have a move available because you haven't used its H or U version lately you really need to watch the meter, or keep good mental track of how many non-236L specials you've used recently. Which isn't to say it's super hard - she's no Asuka R Kreutz by any means - but it is some extra difficulty most characters in Granblue lack.

Hey guys im a beginner and I cant seem to input the SD with 2B. I use a PS5 controller and tried the 720 but I get jumps or some other input. I also trief to buffer it while whiffing a grab but it didnt work. Do you have any tips maybe? thanks in advance

Hold block while doing the 720, once you get the hang of it you can do that 720 during some other animation

"Only character in the game without a 5f normal" bro Vas players are SUFFERING out here not only does he not have a 5f normal, but his only 6f is 2L which is level 0, which will lose to any c.L or f.L on trade his c.L is actually 7f for no reason (used to be +3 while everyone else's were +2, but now all c Ls are normalized to +4) and although his f.L does have M attack priority, it's still 8f, so mashing out with it can be a nightmare he does have a 5f option with U tackle, which gives huge reward on hit, but if baited it's pretty much a guaranteed punish at close range and ofc costs 50 meter anyway sorry I wanted to vent, also Ferry, Ladiva, Metera, and maybe others don't have a 5f normal as well

Around 30:00: I agree on the corner carry combo, but if you are spaced out, you can just do 5MM instead of 5MMM to start it. This allows any 5M to hit confirm into this combo route, at any spacing. You can also add in a RS RC instead of finishing the combo, which can convert this into a corner combo from literally anywhere. I'm not sure what's best after RC, but I do 5MMM into missiles, 5HHHM which then hits combo limit. This is almost 2k more damage than the route here, so you need to decide on if that's worth your BP+25% meter or not, and you probably need close to max gauge but I can't check right now. Saving the BP is probably better early in the round, at least.

okay.....I just started playing this and it's my first 2D fighting game. I have no clue how to get out of the corner with 2B or any other character. I get hit once, I'm trying to block but I just get pushed back to the corner and I'm dead. Every game is over in like 30 seconds and I can't do anything. I know I'm terrible at the game but I'm honestly trying to learn. It's gotten to the point where I'm afraid to go in because I'll just end up getting hit and lose without actually getting to try anything cool, which is the whole point of playing

Guard Cancel is generally a great option for getting out the corner (it's still your turn even if they block it), invincible reversals are also good if used sparingly (some characters have meterless reversal moves, 2B has a 50% meter option). SBA/SSBA are a bit more risky as a reversal since they are a bit slower (the opponent might have time to block them), but at further ranges it can be good to punish moves on reaction with (or if you are out of Bravery Points, you can regain 1 BP for SBA and 2 for SSBA, so it's a bit more worth the risk). Try to get into the habit of not jumping too much, but if your patient for a while you might get away with jumping out of their pressure. I also struggle with losing, the best advice I can give for that is to use a breathing technique (exhale longer than inhaling) and go in with the mindset that you will probably lose, but that's okay because you will learn something, especially if you rewatch the match in replay mode. You WILL play better if you stay calm, and practice a bit everyday.

+5 on block full screen neutral skip into full combat that invulns through projectiles, no big deal. Watching people try to pretend she's bad is hilarious -- She's not Nier 2.0 (harhar, jokes) but anyone who looks at her kit and thinks it is bad is on some wild shit, then again, people thought Grimnir was bottom one at first

all beams goes through projectile if they are even 1 frame faster, in fact 214M lose to beams and quick projectile like metera and eutace and +5 means nothing because all that blockstring pressure is fake because there's no mix or chip meaning if your opponent has a huge life lead they just have to hold the block button and just stall the clock

@@GarethXL It loses to Eustace because Eustace crouches under it, but you're not going to be able to react to it with another projectile (Source: playing Eustace). It's still +5 on block neutral skip. Downplaying that is silly, but she's gonna end up the most downplayed character because people simp for her, no matter what tier she falls in

You're right, and I don't think it's even possible for a character with whiff-cancellable midscreen autocombos to be *that* bad - she will always have the benefit of autowinning neutral against every character that isn't a strong 66L abuser. As if zoners weren't having enough of a hard time in this game... new 3-7 matchup just dropped 😭

Hello. I wanted to share my irritation with the distinguished group. Yesterday I ran Granblue for the first time after 2B was released. I turned on the training mode to learn the new character's moves and when I saw the self-destruction imput (two full circles, one after the other). I checked how to perform this move in an easier way and... to my great surprise, I learned that it can only be done technically... The creators must have gone crazy. The button assignment makes it almost impossible to perform this move on the hitbox or keyboard during intense combat. It seems that if I want to play 2B I have to switch to a gamepad or arcade stick... I paid for the DLC, which was prepared in such a way that I can't use it... I feel like someone spat in my face...
