Its such a good map, that its literally the only one. We haven't had any more big runs with different maps.

I genuinely quite like Wahoo World in solo but I **really** liked it for SR. I want it to come back i'm sick of ignoring half the rotation because I hate Spawning/Marooners 😭

Not sure if this is a "it's fated to be unlucky" sort of thing, but it's mathematically just outright false. It literally doesn't move the 5% bracket at all if every single player below 137 was bumped to 137. Only people moving from 137 or lower to numbers higher than 137 would move the line.

Unless there was a huge majority of people at 136, the line separating the top 5% would not move another number if those specific people had achieved +1 more to get 137. Only if everyone in the world achieved +1 would that line be guaranteed to move.

You guys are forgetting that a large majority of the people who play this game are kids, the people you see online posting about 200+ eggs are in the top 0.1%, with coordinated teams. Only about 20% of the userbase is in EVP, so 5% being a high but very achievable score for EVP makes complete sense.

And you can easily take down Flyfish and Stingers with it.

@inthewrong7766 When I see more than 1 Flyfish I immediately pop Jet or Crab no questions asked. Doesn't matter if its wave 1, those fuckers are HORRIBLE to deal with in higher HLs.

I hate Inkjet in multiplayer simply because none of the good weapons get to have it

I found out recently you can still place eggs in basket while flying and I clutched a wave by getting the last egg in while flying over all the chaos at the basket lmao

Especially high tide. I once got high tide goldies where every single goldie decided to deposit 10 golden eggs next to the basket. We didn't even have time to put all of them in due to all the nearby bosses and lessers sadly.

But Chara is a top player in ranked and not in salmon run. It doesn't fully translate but also he said he only play for like an hour and a half of big run total.

for me its the concept of swiming in the ink to reload and you have to paint the map and turf. refreshing from things like csgo, cod, and valorant

Novel mechanics like the ink recovering your health and ammo while functioning as a stealth sprint, novel movement mechanics like the squid roll, and novel weapon mechanics (i.e. Brellas, Rollers, and Sloshers, especially my beloved *Bloblobber*, come to mind). It's so fun and fresh compared to a lot of dark, moody, dusty shooters that haven't changed how the game plays more than "gun go bigger and stronger". The fact that a lot of things have dual purposes (clothes are not only cosmetic, they have abilities; ink serves as ammo/regen/sprint; leveling up gives you a chance of gaining cosmetics or items that can affect play, etc). It's one of the only games I can think of that has a multitude of different currencies and unlockables that are all rewarded exclusively through gameplay and never pay to win outside of some minor cosmetics (amiibo stuff). The game feels really fair and exciting overall in nearly every aspect and that keeps it really fun! Sorry for the rambling response but I love this game more than I realized lol

Unfortunately that does not work with wavebreaker for whatever reason. With every other special (& bombs) they let the final attack they send out fully complete before cutting your shift short. Wavebreaker however, the game doesn't even consider a possible reviving option in regards to wiping even though it is one of the best reviving specials in the mode.

tbf being a pro against players doesn't directly relate to a pve gamemode
