I ordered a REALISTIC cake of MY DOG from 1 vs. 5 STAR BAKERY 

The smaller one looks the most realistic. But the head fell off.

The one star cake was way cuter. However, I think you should call the company and let them know it was absolutely broken on arrival, furthermore let them know you filmed it, and that the artistry was perfect but they NEED to use skewers and look into someone else for delivery because that was unacceptable. Their business could improve drastically with that simple commentary.

This one is so unfortunate and unfair because the one star did such an amazing job but its very clear someone dropped it or knocked it over. The decorator did an amazing job and it's such a shame that all their hard work was destroyed before it got seen

The 1 star is the best. The 5 star is honestly so ugly

The one star is clearly the winner. They got everything right. It shouldn't have fallen apart, but I think it was the error of everyone involved getting it from the bakery to you opening it! The one star was clearly the winner. That 5 star...c'mon, look at the front legs, the color, the brown eyes, it is horrible in comparison.

That 1 star bakery cake is SO much better than the 5 star. The 1 star actually payed attention to color, conformation, breed, and size for the most part. If only the 1 star bakery got it there in 1 piece and/or had better structural integrity it would have been the unquestionable winner. Maybe this bakery is better to pick your cake up from yourself.

In opinion, the 1 star was the obvious winner. Based on taste to start with, and also the looks of the cake. Imagining it before it was broken, it would have been amazing. And you said the lady offered to have you check to make sure everything was ok, so they clearly cared about the end result and what you thought. 1 star was the clear winner to me.

Another idea is to order from several 5-star places and compare 5 with 5.

The artist from 1star is so talented! Played attention in small details, good dog structure , well made. So much effort and talent. However the materials lack quality :( . The 5 star is the complete opposite.

Honestly, I think the 1 star was way better. I was appalled at the 5 star one. Doesn't even look 5 star. I don't know many people that shave their doggo's bald and then bath them in baby oil to get that smooth.

The stability of the first cake is great and all but you can tell they didn't try their best with it. They gave up on it and just threw the stuff together from the looks of it. Their cake was also dry because it probably is over baked. They put too much salt because salted caramel is usually put into the butter cream and not into the cake itself. That could also explain the dryness. The second one they tried and you can really tell that they did. They put more details and took their time putting it together. You can tell that the place the second cake came from is a place that may have recently opened. Their cake also was not over cooked but could have been a little under cooked from how moist it apparently was. They chose a great flavor that in my opinion is a bit hard to really pack a good flavor punch. In my opinion, I would choose the second cake as well.

I think the 1 Star cake won because if it was fully intact it would look just like Salem. Plus the flavor of the cake was better along with the structure of the dog. They also payed attention to the color of Salem’s eyes and the direction of them. It’s a shame that the cake wasn’t intact but if it was it would’ve looked better than the 5 Star.

1 Star won this hands down. Color taste and face alone were great. Driver needs a talking to. The 5 star cake looked wet. No dog fur looks like that. Face was all wrong and eyes were wrong color. Less is more they did to much layering. I love these videos.

The 1star cake was, imo, the winner. The taste was obviously amazing, but imagine the head still being on the body: it would have looked so cute and its front legs looked normal. They even gave him his beautiful blue eyes :-)

If it was delivered there's a good chance that the person who delivered it didn't work in the bakery and possibly because its a cheaper bakery that the delivery drivers don't get paid a lot and so they probably weren't being careful enough maybe they hit a bump maybe they breaked too hard maybe they took a curve to fast and if it was in like the back seat or the trunk it would have slid and if it slid and bumped into the other back door or any of the sides of the trunk there's also a possibility that the driver knew what had happened but didn't wanna get fired so they still dropped it off to you in hopes that if you complained they could say they "didn't do it u must have done it" and get away with it, but most likely they didn't know and it was an accident. I think the first star one if it hadn't fallen apart it would look spot on cuz even with what you can see it looks just like ur dog
