Was hoping Khe Sanh would be in Cam Lao Nam but im thrilled nonetheless. And we need Marines. Lots more Marines for Khe Sahn.

Thanks for posting this. Ever since I saw the changelog / talk on twitter regarding this update hitting dev branch just under a week ago, I was searching for any videos on the new map/new content and was surprised to see no one had posted anything in regards to it. So while mine downloads now. Thanks for making this. Keep up the great work as always billy!

01:15 Awww YEAH!! MiG-21 Confirmed! But what I'm really excited about is Thompson SMG! I was hoping they would add it eventually. Now only the M1 Garand for the USA and the STG 44 and Kar98 for the Vietcong, and we'll have a complete list of great quality weapons from the Second War!

No that is a Unsung Mig as he mentioned later in the video he also has unsung assets in his mission.

Interesting breakdown of the new content, cheers. However, it is really hard for me to see how other people play Arma as I've modded the living daylights out of it. Ace is a must for starters!

True. Ace is a must for me also. This is on his FAQ though so fingers crossed " - Does it support ACE? - Not currently but maybe sometime in the future. ACE medical will break some missions."

They're actually already kinda in there. The EDRL camo was used by the USMC during vietnam. After making this video I actually tweaked this version of Direct Action so that the main faction at the combat base is the USMC with the correct camo :).

If you also have the Unsung mod, you will have access to USMC gear, such as flack jackets, helmets and so forth. I am using that mod as well as prairie fire. But nonetheless, it’s up to you to choose. Have a nice day

I really wish i wasn’t constantly getting bombed the freakin hell out of by aircraft,,, on all the direct actions,,, gameplay starts really awesome,,, then a few missions in im jus a sitting duck to jets and choppers,,, no mercy. Its very unbalanced

Big enthusiasm when i saw the Mig-21 and the transport plane but then it plops when you said that you are using mods in this video, NOT COOL !!!

A lot of the PF guys are also part of the unsung team. Unsung redux is basically becoming a mod extension of PF. I think the devs have already said they’re designed to complement each other (PF is supposed to focus mainly on the actual SOG stuff.. special forces etc). I’m really hoping they’ll add planes to PF just for convenience (at least the mig and the C130), but for now unsung redux is the closest we’ve got.
