That is good news in two ways. First its of course great for the crew to not have to life in that noise anymore. Secondly noise is energy. And any energy that is not being consumed to generate noise.... goes into SPEEEEED. All the best Team Malizia!
I just watched the latest and your speed hit above 30 knots! The mast and sail repair is as new. As you ate standing up a big bump came. You have balance like a cat even with sore legs. 👌⛵️💪
We all are happy that the Noise problems was solved. You are a tough sailor and do a phantastic job in repair and working on the mast top. Sometimes tears are a good means to let the joy in again❤️
That it makes you and the whole team happy i can understand very well! 🤩 It was a devastating noise in a resonance chamber. 🙉 And now its a part of your race history. 👍 Keep it up. 💪 Dear Rosalin, what happened to the cracks in the foils, appeared on leg 2? Was there a correlation with the noise?
Das ist ja eine sehr gute Nachricht. Hinsichtlich dieses infernalischen Geräusches hatte ich schon echt Mitleid mit der Crew. Also dann alles Gute für die nächsten Wochen ⛵️🍀
Rosie my friend I know this was prior to stage three when you facing those enormous waves travel just on the limit of the Ice flow in the Southern Ocean just off Cape Luanne in south west Australia and shocking ride you and the team had a long way south of Cape Otway in Victoria most people do not realize those two Light Houses are 5000 klms apart and it is one the God forsaken places in the world. I was lucky enough to travel with you all be it virtually through the lens my admiration for all you stepped up notch or two and you can now call you A Horner black eye and all I thank you Boris, Antoine , Will, Nico, win or not it a tremendous effort on every one of you and I thank you all for to share some of it with you mostly on the night watch in early hours of the morning stuff of legends. love to you all james xx :)
It's great that you have that terrible noise reduced. Good for your hearing and your sanity. Have the shore team actually reduced the noise or installed sound deadening?
