Personally studied the motorbike ones a lot as I love motorbike racing and my friend races a lot at club level and when we first started we watched his videos loads as they really broke down a lot of the aspects of riding on track. But I agree I do enjoy a lot of his content just I tend to repeat watch what I can do myself rather than the stuff that's out of my price range if that makes sense. So all if possible but if not somewhere I can rewatch the bike stuff 😂
You should leave it as an archive and reference it from your other channel. There’s some good footage here that I like to watch from time to time! I’m sure there’s many others.

He stopped motorbike series after the injury, so, now he only ride cars, that's it, he try to come back, but it takes to much energy, and he just can't continue with the ankle problem, that's sad, but he can't do anything about that
Don't delete the channel because the videos are still good, just leave this channel running in the background, so that fans on the new channel still have a way of catching up on your older content
Yeah, I'm one of the motorcycle subscribers who initially watched the car videos but couldn't keep up with them. I don't really understand why the choice is to delete rather than just archive and move on.
yeah but if this channel stays up, people may find this one instead of the new one because of the higher subscription number, and the new channel wont grew at all.
Agree this doesn't make any sense to throw these videos away. People learn from them, I use them as a resource every year since I found this guy for my riding learning. I don't understand the rationale of deleting the entire channel and all the vids
Please keep this channel up as a resource for your motorcycle videos! The breakdowns and analysis are some of the best on RU-vid and have helped me become such a better rider. I still re-watch them to sharpen my technique.

This is coming from a guy that watches more F1 than MotoGP, even I became slightly less interested in car videos maybe because bike content is way more fun. But this channel has too much valuable information for us so please don't delete this. That will be a huge loss for us. If you're concerned if people will get confused then just specify a strong name to this channel so that only the previous subs can watch this, but keep the name 'Alberto' in the title as many may not watch this video and get confused as to where did the channel go. I suggest 'Alberto's abandoned channel'
As some people have suggested already, keep this channel as an archive. If you don't want people to get confused when they're looking for the new channel, you can change the name to "alberto archive / OLD" or something among those lines. Updating the channel description + a video that directs the audience to the new channel should be enough

I've been following the channel for a while now and I've noticed that I haven't been recommended any of your videos even though it's my main type of content to watch. It's annoying that you experienced such rapid growth from 2019 only for the RU-vid algorithm to fail and not prioritise your videos. The level of content you are producing is fantastic and I've already subbed to your new channel. However, I would recommend that you keep this going so you have videos to reference and potentially go back to if you don't see the same level of growth. You can't delete your old videos! All your motorcycle tips videos are amazing! i learned so much from 25 TIPS FOR RIDING YOUR RACING MOTORBIKE and every year I rewatch it to make sure I didn't forget anything in the offseason. please leave them online. Also for newer riders that get into trackdays/ racing. Thanks for making your videos and good luck with the new channel!

As many others have said, I'd also really really appreciate it if you left this channel up, or moved all your motorbike videos into one playlist on your new channel (just subbed), I constantly go back to your 25 tip Parts 1, 2 and 3 videos and your riding with pro riders to try and improve myself. They're SUCH good informative videos especially for those just starting on track and it would be a huge shame to lose them.

I stopped watching ENG when there was huge delay with IT vs ENG version and then there was too hard to follow only Italian language for latest news even though I know basic Italian and have Ducati bike. I "discovered" you when you made review of one Ducati - it is great up to today.
I totally understand this decision. Ive heard of other creators being forced to do the same thing because of youtube's silly algorithm. This must be incredibly frustrating to deal with. I immediately subbed to the new channel :)

What can help mitigate this problem is advertising the videos at launch to the exact specific Group a.k.a. cars instead of bikes just a small amount. I've heard it can angle the direction of the automatic algorithm. Honestly I would give that a shot, whatever's in the pipeline, Post with a mild/Minimal ad campaign for a few videos to see if that changes future situations
did you use the same YT channel and simply create a new (sub) channel with both linked to the same google account (I don't mean the adsense account just the google mail account)?? Just trying to see the link. Would be very interesting to know to try to understand the algorithm better.

Alberto - we often overvalue that which we have invested in. Kudos to you in realizing the sunk costs have gotten too large, that it is time to restart instead of continuing to sink even more effort into this situation, and "burning the boats" to forge forward. I agree with your judgment that the algorithm is not flexible enough to realize your channel focus had changed. Its a shame what games youtube is playing with peoples channels but i personally think you should leave this channel up, and as mentioned, so the videos can be archived and used as a point of reference, just the other day i went back over your videos for learning purposes. Ive been watching your videos since day one and i would like the ones on this channel stay so i can go back from time to time and watch them, some of your footage is "PURE GOLD". Hey, I can definitely admit to being one of the people who haven't clicked on your car racing videos that much. Coming from a motorcyclist with much too little free time, it's just something I haven't gotten into. But I can truly say that your old motorcycle videos were amazing and actually really helpful in learning techniques for the track. I've watched your videos again and again multiple times over the years! Would really be shame to lose all of this valuable material... As many other people have suggested, would it not be possible to keep this channel and especially the motorcycle videos around? Maybe even going as far as hiding some of the newer car content no not overlap with the new channel, and keeping just the motorcycle related content..? I'm sure myself and many other riders would appreciate it a lot, even with no new videos coming out ever again...

I remember almost a year ago, I ussually had your videos in the main menu as recommended from RU-vid, and sudendly youtube didn´t show me your videos anymore. YOUR VIDEOS ARE GOD, SUPER VIEWS.

Same thing happened to me this year, but I'm a much smaller channel. To counter this, I started paying money to promote my videos with ads, and my subscriber count went from 554 to 3,994. Pretty much the only thing I could do, but at least I have peace of mind knowing it's not my fault that the RU-vid Algorithm sometimes stinks at putting the right videos in the limelight.

Always liked you vids. Doesn't RU-vid have a feature where you add another audio track and alternative thumbnails for different languages? So basically one channel for both Italian and English and one Upload for both Videos as well. I haven't checked this out myself, maybe it's even restricted to invite only...
