you mean to tell me I have been watching your videos for EIGHT years?? how tf did that happen. I feel old. I think Buzzfeed Test #4 was the very first one I watched. I've loved seeing how your channel has grown and evolved over the years, just didn't quite realize it had been that many years lol. Would love to see you revisit some more of the early tests and revamp them!
You should definitely do this again, but in a series capped by year (2016, 2017, 2018, ..., present)! Maybe with a focus on the most viewed ones, the hardest ones, or your underrated favorites.
Looking at the thumbnail, it is really nostalgia to see Newbie David in 2015 start off his journey making Buzzfeed's Recipes. Now, in 2023 we see Intermediate Chef David now rose to become the best chef ever! P.S. i'm not calling him Expert Chef yet, because he has more things to learn and experience even if it takes years or so. But hopefully David will soon rose as an Expert Chef that might take over Jamie Oliver and Rachel lol
I can't believe it's been almost eight years. The time sure flies. It's been so awesome to watch you grow in the kitchen. Very happy to still be watching today! Here's to another eight years and beyond!
Man, I'm gonna be 100% honest. I started watching you because your earliest cooking videos infuriated me, but seeing you develop the skill over time is what got me hooked. It's really awesome to see you put it so firmly into perspective!
Its so crazy to think I’ve been watching you since your very first video. I think number 7 was when I first discovered you. You’ve grown so much as a chef David. Don’t let views dropping discourage you to leave, you’re an inspiration!!! We LOVE you!!!! 🤍🤍🤍
I've been watching your channel consistently ever since your first ten or so buzzfeed test videos. I'm not even sure if there's any other youtube channel I've been subscribed to for that long. There's just something incredibly comforting about watching your videos and it's been great to see you grow as a cook and as a creator. You're so consistent with the frequency and quality of your content and I genuinely appreciate the way you engage with your audience. I understand that getting less views than usual can be stressful but please keep in mind that a lot of us subscribers have been here for a long time and will continue to support you in the future. We love you ❤
Watching you pour that funfetti abomination on your beautiful chocolate ball made me crack up 😂 thank you David, you always bring the entertainment lol
Not usually a commenter, but couldn’t help but say it’s been awesome to see you grow throughout the years. You’ve really come so far and are continuing to blossom! All the love, dude! 💖
8 yearsss!? Insane! Thank you for your many sacrifices within these 8 years, David. Your channel is my comfort channel and I watch it all the time, ESPECIALLY on days where I feel down. You’re one of the best RU-vidrs out there!
I can’t believe it’s been 8 years! I started watching you during my first year of high school and I remember getting out of school every thursday looking forward to watching your new videos 😄 Still love your channel to this day of course, thanks for putting out such consistently great content 🫶
This was incredible david! This hit where i always want nostalgia to hit man! And i KNEW that You would unclude the fudgey brownies here too! They're so CLASSIC! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I can’t believe I’ve been watching you for this long! Wow! Thank you David, you’re one of the very few channels I’m still looking forward to watch every week.
Awwwww baby David was so freaking adorable!!!!!! Is it weird to say I’m proud of you??? It’s the mom in me. Seriously man…..really cool to be here then and now.
I used to make the pizza dip for every party I had and movie nights, it was always a hit. I haven't made it since highschool(5yrs) I need to again! I can't believe I've been watching your videos so long!
I can't recall when David stopped falling over when the food was absolutely incredible but that would make me feel nostalgic. If you try a new recipe and fall out of the chair, no words needed. That's OG David Seymour
Been watching you since I was in high school! I’m 24 now so you can do the math! So glad you are still around❤❤❤ You should try recreating timpano or the teardrop cake!
8 YEARS?? damn i feel old. I watched you in high school and i graduated college years ago. Still remembering the struggles from your early days along with you falling on the floor when something was super tasty to you.
The dip and the pie...I want to eat them so bad!!! I've got to look up all three recipes. Sorry I wasn't following you 8 years ago, David! I found your channel about a year ago and LOVE your videos!
13 year old me always wanted to make the pizza dip but was too scared of spilling it when getting it from the oven… now I’m 20 and still scared of that molten heart attack waiting to happen😂😂
been watching since the beginning 🥰 he even took my advice in buzzfeed test #9! it's great to see how david's grown as a cook and as a person over all these years
I love this! Whenever I think of these chocolate balls, I remember my FIL making a fancy dessert for bridge night when they hosted. He’d seen something with using balloons to make dishes out of chocolate for mousse and such, so he decided he needed to be fancy. The difficulty came in getting the temperature of the chocolate just right. He and my MIL had only been in their townhouse a couple of years. (They just celebrated 21 years of marriage.). He went to dip the first balloon and as he got it coated, it popped. Chocolate all over FIL, chocolate all over the counter and chocolate on the ceiling. 😂 My MIL heard the pop and K swearing. She was shocked and then started laughing. He did manage to make 8 chocolate cups for mousse…after they cleaned up the spray from the first balloon. She still kids him about it from time to time. So do his daughters, my husband’s stepsisters.
No idea how your views are slipping.. i’m here as soon as I get the notification every time… even tho i’m on UK 🇬🇧 time! Love your content keep it up king x❤
Oh the nostalgia! I actually knew this recipe before you first reviewed it. It is delicious 😊 also you going to check views for a few thousands reminds me of my current partner who has a passion like you! Edit: if you want an even better taco seasoning mixture.. toast up guajillo, ancho, pasilla, and arbol chillies then grind it up with some paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder!
Can't believe I've been watching for that long, remember hearing about you first from Threadbanger. You've improved so much as a creator and I can't wait to see what's in store for the future.
I am so with you, on Cilantro/Corriander Leaves. I used to have sympathy, but then there was my father’s wife #5. She L❤️🔥VED my pasta salad, and even asked me to come over, and make a huge batch for a dinner party she was having. Later, at an Indian restaurant, she complained about the cilantro. I pointed out to her that the pasta salad has only: pasta, chopped black/Kalamata olives, red onion, tomato, feta, dressing, and many, many handfuls of CILANTRO. She never relented, and never admitted I was right. I feel no pity for them. None.
pleaseeee try not to feel too disheartened about the decrease in views 😩 i know you deserve better and i really hope the channel takes off again soon, but either way i’ll still watch. everyone else i started watching around the same time has basically disappeared. i still love you and your content ❤️ i’m so proud of your growth
Wow i feel old! I have been watching you since the beginning and its amazing to see how far you've come along! Also, Timpano!! please bring it back. P.S that melted funfetti looks like something I dont wanna say on the internet :D
Don't worry David, your views are only down because most of us are/were on vacation - we will catch up once we get back home and all will be fine! Your videos are helpful, informative, and hilarious as well - perfect combo!
When the Japanese flavor or garnish a dish with a splash of another ingredient, it's sometimes called a bukkake. I feel that is appropriate for that final dish.
dude I've been trying to find your channel for a while now, I remembered subscribing but couldn't remember your channel name and your stuff never popped up in my feed until now.
Chocolate wafers are great to use! They’re basically the same as chocolate with the cocoa butter replaced with oil for the chocolate is less finicky. I do some pretty hardcore hobby pastry making and would absolutely never recommend working with real chocolate to a beginner/ casual baker.
Always love your channel !!! I’ve been off RU-vid for a while so just catching up on everyone’s videos But keep it up going it going you’re fire at this homie !!!
Missing the days i when i always looked forward for your buzzfeed videos 🥲 from chocolate croissant to timpano to what not. Randomly stumbled upon your channel some time in 2016 and have never stopped watching your videos ever since
wow 8 years :,•) i was just cooking and I thought of you. I was like “wow I haven’t watched his videos in a while” then come back to watch this video. def a sign for me to start watching more often :•)
