Think about in The Search... he said "somethin funny is going on up in my house" ... his house being the mansion that is 3 albums before the Search but he connects them. The Mansion comes up in other songs, too.

When I first heard this song I felt exposed! Like someone got into my head and wrote my feelings and life experiences down in lyrics. This song and How Could You Leave Us are the hardest for me to listen to because I relate to them on such a deep level. Real music for sure!

Mansion was the first song I heard from NF years ago. I never thought a lyricist would be able to speak to my being the way he did in this song. I have been hooked on NF ever since.

I'm not sure if this is still the case, but at the time he wrote this song Inception was his favorite movie. If you've seen that movie, the line "Insidious is blind inception" in this particular song is like 🤯🤯 Fleurie is singing the hook - she has an AMAZING voice. I've heard a lot of her music. She's worked with Nate's best friend and co-producer, Tommee Profitt, several times. Tommee is also absolutely incredible. He's composed music for commercials, video games, TV shows, movies, etc. This hook was in the music video for Hope, after he falls into the Mansion.

This is my theory of NF you don't find him he finds you. He found me 3yrs ago I'm 52 and he made me feel not alone. I wished he'd been around in my younger years. This journey will make you think for sure but not to worry they're not all so deep some are just great rap but with a message. It's ups and downs his highs and hid lows just like life.

I am here for the NF journey with you. I have followed other reactors take the journey, and it never gets old. Love NF and seeing first time reactors react to his music.

I used to think that the number of rooms in my mind was endless. Running down the hallway flinging doors open. Excited for the next experience. The older I get, the more certain I become that, they are indeed finite. I see the end of the hall. I open the doors slowly now. I fear Nothing more than that last door. The knob haunts me. I’ve been an Outcast for years, listened to his whole catalogue countless times and that third verse still cuts me to the core every time as something I see in myself. He has this song briefly playing again in his newest album, hope on a song of the same title. You'll love this journey and Hope might be some of his best as he has progressed to a stronger guy mentally as he also became a father. He has songs with Tech N9ne and more. He also came out with a track on his latest album thag was used by the NBA 2023 playoffs off Hope. He also comes to terms with his mother. The album before that was Clouds. Unbelievable as you would expect. He found me late too but he's extremely relatable. Enjoy the trip!

I'm not comparing the 2 other than the metaphor that like the bible theres ways It's going to speak to all of us differently, when your depressed you relate and understand it, when you're out of it you enjoy it and can reflect on where you had came from.
