Oh wow, that price including the captain and the chef is fantastic in comparison to several nights in a hotel. To get the excursions/trips to the islands and on a boat would then cost extra on top of that, not to mention eating out in restaurants and that looked quality what the chef was cooking. The views were unreal, such a treat. Those stingrays were huge! Really appreciate you trying new things and taking us along, with your family this time as well. Well done.

Hi Noel, i noticed you have a background music problem. Sometimes its to loud. On mobile phones it gets a problem because it fights agains your voice. I also dont think you need so many music. Under voice over its working good but under the scenes wher is direkt sound and you explaine things it makes it chaotik. I think this is the part your videos are strong because they feel real and positive. From the start you use to loud and much background music you create a distance to the viewer and this destroys the power of your videos. The best example is the beginning of this video. Funny anuf I noticed the same problem with your friend Josh Cahill. Do you mix it yourself or du you make the sound / music mix on RU-vid studio online and get your copyright free music there? I love your work and videos!!!

I lived and worked in the Bahamas for 5 years. It is really beautiful however if you are not a fan of the sun or water not much to do. It never gets boring looking at the color of the water and white sand beaches. Safe travels home with the family.

Sands is a decent Bahamian beer. I like Bush Crack. Not a joke. It’s a Bahamian light beer but it doesn’t taste like a light beer. Just nice and crisp and great on a hot day. Wow! What a holiday, what a gorgeous yacht! Noel, you did get me a bit worried at the start when you showed us "the pointy bit" and then sat in the "driver's seat", this is the "engine throttle thingy" and "buttons to press" - surely Noel is not going to set out to sea himself? Thankfully the yacht came fully equipped with crew and all home comforts. As you said, very affordable too. Thank you for taking us along.

I grew up with sharks. If it helps you feel better about your kids swimming with sharks, most sharks are very timid and they don't like the taste of humans. That is why shark attacks are rare. Sharks only attack when they are confused, such as when they spot a struggling swimmer or someone bleeding. In summary, sharks don't like the taste of humans. Shark attacks are extremely rare!

The best time of my life was when I spent 5 years with my husband and daughter travelling on our sailboat. We visited over 50 countries but sadly never made it to the Bahamas. Hi Noel, Glad that you, the Mrs and the Children had a great time in the Bahamas, TBH I suggest you try coming here to the Seychelles for a comparison, you mentioned Navigare-yachting having branches, well there's one here as well as well as other yacht charters too. Working at our airport I have met people coming for a yacht charter also, not surprised there as well, in fact some people pay for hotels and yacht charter. It all depends on you. Another thing here is there are yacht charters that you can rent a yacht for a day, you get a skipper and crew, they take you around the island snorkeling and to the marine park, very nice and you can go to our neighbouring islands, set foot on the beach, some may have hikes also that can be planned. There's a comment you said in the video about the scenic view that you only see in post cards and travel magazins, well I'm also glad that you found out that you can experience it in real life too, Same thing you will find in the Seychelles also. I already knew it, of course. I hope the sunburn was not a big issue, always a good idea to bring sun screen or you might end up looking like a red boiled Lobster.😅the same thing rings true here in SEZ by the way.

Did a similar trip with my parents in Mexico about 15 years ago. It's surprisingly inexpensive for what you get!

Please wear sunscreen Noel, skin cancer is so terribly common, especially for gingers.

It is about 500 per person per day. I used to run week long charters in the BVI from 2007 to 2009. Back then the price of a boat like this would have been about 15 thousand for a week. Guest usually have to pay for provisions in advance(food and drink u want on the boat). Also there is a tip for the crew at the end which is 15 to 20% of total cost. You can fit 8 guests on a boat like this. So you can split costs a bit, but never down to 500 per person for the whole trip.

How many days were you on the boat? Playing around with their website, a week for six plus skipper and cook is a lot more than $500 per person. Like 5x as much, you maybe got a smoking deal or something, I am not finding a week for less than $10-15K for 6 people with skipper and cook.

Well, the music and film stars probably OWN a yacht at that point and just have employees (staff) that take them around. But that's a different story. $500 per person is NOT bad considering it includes a place to stay, food (that you don't have to go get or prepare yourself) for a few nights is NOT bad at all. Plus it gives you a means of transportation to visit all the islands, whereas if you did the traditional route that most people do, you'd have to pay extra for excursions on a boat. I would definitely do something like that as I think it's one of those things you have to do at least once in your life.

I suggested you went from Lands End to John O' Groats using National Express coaches and instead you went on a luxury yacht trip!

I've just recently spent £4000 family of 5 free child place on a self catering holiday to Majorca (jet2) in a couple of weeks and to find you can do this for a lot cheaper is mental. (excluding flights). But on the other hand would be nice to see a review flying from Dublin over to the states on the 757/767 before there gone. :)

While i can see that some folks would enjoy the yacht experience, I find such things very tedious and quite restricting. And I don't do resort holidays, either! Do all my own itinerary and just go off the beaten track!
