Just another "click Bait" headline as this "Flywheel never broke on an engine. The actual flywheel itself was scrap given the huge crack across the clutch face. The "Break" was deliberately done using a press, as is clear to see from the actual "break". Now they will show you a pseudo repair and all the mugs will post positive comments about how wonderful they are. Look closely @19.14. He is facing off the screwed / glued in steel insert. when facing off this insert the cut is only at the bottom of 1 bolt hole but is 1/2 way across other bolt holes. These bolt holes have not been drilled in their correct position. @20.13 he is facing off the steel insert and you can clearly see that the centre boor of this insert is not concentric to the flywheel. @26.48 there is the lovely sound of the cast iron cracking as the "Weld" cools down. @31.42 you can easily see that only part of the flywheel face has been ground clearly showing how out of alignment the flywheel is. As initially stated this is yet another bodged "Repair" that will never be fitted to any engine. This video is the text book example of how never to repair a cast iron flywheel.
Besides, 1. No way the 8 holes will line up if they are set out using that nonsensical method with the caliper as shown. You can even see that they are not uniformly spaced. 2. Nobody would grip a wheel by the gear teeth in lathe chuck. 3. Mounting a 3-jaw chuck by gripping it in a 4-jaw is something that nobody with "amazing skill" would do. Unquestionably another fake repair video. Sorry we watched it.
Maybe in the next video you can show us what happens when this"repair" fails and people get hurt? The lack of precision here is appalling, it doesn't matter if the holes are exactly on center, we'll just drill them a bit bigger with our bent drill bits so there's adjustment.
Did the same in 1996 for my front end loader wich had a cummins engine and i replaced it with a DAF 575 turbo engine but had to put the cummins flywheel for the DAF engine. It is still running everyday for 28 years now !

Good Very Very Good Technician. Very Very Good PHOTO GRAPHI. Good Work. Good Material. Honest Technician.& Instrument. Thank's From:Vohra Latif Abdulla. Kalupur Ahmedabad Gujarat state. India.
Either you have skill or you are an excellent machinist. There is no such thing as 'AMAZING SKILL' IN THE WORLD. THIS 'AMAZING SKILL' IS ONLY USED BY PAKISTANIS TO DESCRIBE THEMSELVES.
In no way would anyone with any commonsense use this clutch Too many cracks when one is too much And to repair it that way , not a chance in hell would it last Cheapo and poor quality repairs
I always wonder…is this type of garbage work performed because they are in a third-world country, or are they a third-world country because they do this type of garbage work?
