omg this was lowkey traumatic....but also cute. which pupper is your favorite?! make sure to watch to the end see everyones eyes and how much they weigh now!
PLEASE if May hasn't been tested for giardia, have him get her checked! My puppy had chronic diarrhea for months after I got her and the original vet did a test for worms but apparently didn't check for giardia. She had it and once she was treated, the diarrhea went away.
The world would be a better place if everyone handled break-ups like you and Joey. Sometimes things don’t work in the moment, but you still can care for a person you shared your life with. Thanks for being a great example!
Not everyone has good breakups, some were abused and i would most definitely wont want to be friends with my abuser even if they were my friend before dating. Or sometimes is just a bad breakup where they cheated or something and there’s things you just cant forgive and forget and you need to get out of that negativity and toxicity. Oh and it has nothing to do with maturity.
Poor May was probably stressed about the only person she knows and trusts leaving her. It sucks that we can't communicate to dogs that we're not leaving for good when we go away. Wasn't that poor thing was dumped in a field by people she trusted? Maybe she thought that she was abandoned again and freaked out. :( Glad you're all okay now and that the puppies are safe! Joey is a lucky man to have such amazing friends. :)
Thank you for saying that. Cause you are 100% right. Just like people, animals can have traumatic memories and it can lead them to act in ways that they normally wouldn’t have acted
Agreed!! But sadly, I feel like Joey shouldn’t keep rescuing pregnant animals if he plans on traveling regularly again. Obviously it’s traumatic for them and creates a unsafe situation:(
@@Mariana_fm I don't think joey shouldn't be rescuing but I do think that maybe introducing Daniel and Maria to his rescue animals and get them accustom to them before traveling or leaving them with Daniel and Maria basically a little bit more planning then usual because let's face it we need more people like Joey that saves rescues and rehomes these animals especially with shelters sometimes often times terminating animals that are disabled or have issues and sometimes even pregnant animals since they don't have the room to keep them
Joey always mentions Miss May doing this and that, and her messes, but my gosh! He never goes into detail of how much work it is! He's so good at showing us the cute bits! Hope Maria is doing better, and kudos to you for being so incredibly helpful when you don't any obligation to. The world would be a much better place with kindness like yours and Maria's!
Joey left so I think she has really bad separation anxiety. The first time I was gone from my dog, she didn't eat, threw up and was depressed. One of my family members brought her to the vet, only to be nothing wrong, just she was so anxious that we were gone. She is fine now, but it was something the first time.
It’s funny that when Joey was showing the damage done to the room he made it seem like no big deal. When Daniel shows the damage he lets you know how much the french doors cost. I love how he speaks the truth. 😁
@@cantbelieveitsnotredacted1117 yeah that confused me too. usually he puts the dog in the gurage and in a large pen, what happened to that? why did he suddenly decide the guest room was the best place?
She might have been lowkey freaked out about the new people and Joey being gone. No one did anything wrong but he did rescue her from the street right before she gave birth and she bonded with him. Any new people could trigger her trying to get her babies to safety even though she didn't need to.
@@Ma-cn7yn wow. Seriously? You can go fuck off. Daniel has a lovely, down to earth personality and he's very much an adult. I'm sorry if his content isn't click bait for you. Don't watch!
I like how you show the real and raw side of Joey adopting these dogs, it makes me respect his passion and care he has towards these dogs more. Thank you for posting this 🤍
Daniel really exposing all the destruction and mess 🤣 usually Joey doesn't show that as much, it's great you guys helped out for a bit, poor doggo must be scared to be left alone
I think Joey might not because he doesn’t want the momma dog to have a bad image with his viewers and possible adopting family although I feel it’s best everything gets disclosed so the person who does adopt her knows what they are getting into I could be wrong it’s just my thought
Yep. She will need to be adopted. She has just been rescued and will be protective over her puppies. Once settled, a lot, if not all her behaviours will change. But many people could be put off adoption because they will have a perception on her.
Joey has certainly down played how stressful this Mama has been, he did show everyone some of the issues, but I had no idea! There is a special place in heaven for amazing people like all of you. This poor mom needs those puppies to get older so she doesn’t have to be so stressed, and she deserves a family of her own, and to just get to be dog and play, be loved, and sleep in the middle of a big comfy bed lol
I think Joey might not because he doesn’t want the momma dog to have a bad image with his viewers and possible adopting family although I feel it’s best everything gets disclosed so the person who does adopt her knows what they are getting into I could be wrong it’s just my thought
I have a soft spot for all shelter/rescue mamas. I rescued rabbits for many years and the two mama’s I saved with their babies were such special and nurturing buns. Mama animals deserve just as much love and attention as the cute babies. They make the best pets and are so grateful and loving.
Don't blame mama. I bet she never had any of her litters in a house. I think she panicked with a stranger and took them to keep them safe. She has stress diarrhea. Canned pumpkin with her food will help that. My favorite is November. The white pup with the black patches around her eyes.
Canned pumpkin will definitely help, also I think Joey has/had been feeding her real ice cream for the calcium but I think its been causing the diarrhea, which if he has not stopped yet he needs to stop doing.
I don't think he really blame her or anybody blames her butt as a person destroying a $5,000 door and all of the damage she totalled could send anybody lol rescue May is very lucky to have them because I think others would have really gave her the boot
The amount of views he gets from his videos of them will cover the cost of the damage. She is a rescue dog who needs time to become acclimated to living indoors. Joey would be aware of this before agreeing to be a foster.
I would suggest Joey is sensitive to the fact May will need to be adopted and first impressions stick. May is a newly rescued dog and a protective mumma. After some time and effort many of these behaviours will change. But the impression given of her will not and could impact whether or not she gets adopted.
@@Ma-cn7yn Imagine not having any to do with your life so you decided to inject yourself in a perfectly healthy friendship between two exes and completely hate on one for no reason
i think these videos are great for people to understand how much effort and work can go in with fostering and just owning animals. Thanks for being so kind and helpful. Wish you, your mom and Joey the best.
This was some STRESS! Poor Maria! Poor Daniel! Poor Joey's house! 😬😱 Poor puppers! Oh my word! 🥴Also, what a good son Daniel is for stepping in to save his amazing Mama. ❤️ I hope my son grows up loving me like Daniel does Maria.
Rescue person here. I feel your pain and I smell your pain! Ha ha. You and your mother are lovely people to deal so thoroughly with such a traumatic situation. This is what we do for these furry creatures we love. You both are wonderful. I wouldn’t expect any less from either of you watching you all these years. I’m sending you hugs, virtual support and love.💜🐾💙🐾
Poor Maria!! How overwhelming!! Mama May seems to moments of panic when she feels restricted. She already started on the window and door previously. She must have had to go out and just freaked out. Thank you for stepping in and setting things straight!!
I'm so glad you were able to step in for Maria, it's awful when someone who doesn't like dogs or has been traumatized ends up going through it again. :c I'm glad you and Joey are still in each other's lives, no matter what! December or January are prob my faves but it's hard to choose.🤣
She did choose to take on the responsibility so obviously she was not that afraid beforehand. It's not like she was avoiding dogs and had a bad experience anyway. Best not to make a mountain out of a mole hill.
I know it can’t be easy for Joey to be taking care of these puppies and the sweet mamma. May seems to be a very nervous and skittish dog. I am sure it’s breaking his heart just as much as yours at the damage she has done to that beautiful room. Doors and Windows can be replaced, but safety is more important right now to protect all of them. She is quit the “escape the room” artist. I hope your mom is ok, I just love her to pieces🥰. You have such a kind heart, and it does not go unnoticed. Joey is lucky to have you, and that your willing to step in. Edited on 9/30 - the amount of hateful comments toward both Daniel and Joey is just plain sad. We are not told ( nor should we because it’s non of our buisness) all the details of why Joey is not the one dealing with this or assuming stuff about the whole situation. What is said or arrangments that have been made regarding the care of the puppies and momma is none of our buisness…period. Joey would never intentionally or accidentally bring harm to any animal he is fostering. Just go watch his other videos and you can see this. His compassion for these other wise abandoned animals is more than most people would ever do. So for all of you here, leaving negative comments and unnecessary rudness please stop. Joey’s channels and Daniels for that matter are about positivity, uplifting and making this a safe place for people to visit. The old saying of “ if you can’t say something nice..don’t say nothing at all” yeah more people need to be reminded of this.
Poor may 😢 she’s clearly bonded to joey and probs feels u safe with unfamiliar people around her babies. I hope she finds a home with patient and understanding owners
Daniel is impressively clean & well-organized, and not only that, he works very quickly in the most efficient & orderly fashion! My observations thus far of Daniel is that he can look at a situation, makes some mental notes & calculations of the work/task on hand, then concludes when he finally executes his plans as quickly & humanly possible. I think the best description of Daniel is "SUPERMAN" because he has the handsomeness appearance, strength & movement of a superhero! Bestie Joey & Momma Maria called for help & Daniel came to the rescue! If that is not the characteristic trait of a superhero then I don't know what is?!? 🥰🥰🥰
I'm so proud of you, Mister! I know it's hard to deal with things when you already have a full plate. You're fantastic! I'm sure you too feel better now that things are hopefully more stable at your friend's place and with your momma. Rest well!!
Oh my, the before and after was so relieving. Bless those poor puppies and their momma. And bless you for helping Joey out. I think like so many others have said this momma needs a vet visit, and lots of one on one training. She knows when she has to go to the bathroom and has major anxiety when she can’t get out in time. I wonder who is taking her out while Joey is gone, she obviously needs to be let out every 2-3 hours.
People, please watch the whole video before making a comment. I was also confused at first but am SO GRATEFUL to you Daniel and Maria for stepping in and helping out. So sorry you got bit Maria, I'm sure that was scary. Sending positive thoughts to you both, all the puppies, and poor momma May.
It's probably too early to even suggest such a thing, but maybe Lavvy-girls owners could consider adopting one of these little babies? Kinda like a full circle moment. Unless they're not ready, of course. Everyone needs to heal in their own time frame. I know what it's like to lose a puppy 💔
@@chadwildclayfancwc5753 the female owner had just came home from a doctors appointment with her baby. The boyfriend left Lavvy by himself in the backyard for 20 minutes and then he escaped because he was alone and bored. Then he got ran over by the car. It was negligence and it’s insane how much the owners downplayed it. “They were just talking.” No. They neglected the dog outside so of course it escaped, huskies are insane escape artists.
I hope you have your own human babies one day sweet boy...you are so loving, caring & you have so much patience. You would be such a fun & encouraging dad to some very lucky little kids. And you don't even need a partner to do it if you haven't yet found the right partner yet...only a symbiotic female who appreciates your immensely loving nature. What an awesome dad you would be.
Oh my goodness, she had separation anxiety and a sore tummy and diarrhea - and if it could go wrong it did go wrong. Thank you for helping your friend and your mama - your mama is such a sweetie, I loved her sitting out the front with her blankie and the other pups. It looks like Joey's going to have to spend a fortune to fix up the house to get the bond back - Mama-Dog is definitely a handful. A sweetie, who might need an experienced person to adopt her - but who'd be worth the hassle. Poor dear has so much going on with new houses and new people and babies and a sore tum - she's just a bit all over the place right now.
OMG it made my day to see this title. I have to admit that watching this huge litter of husky/mix puppies, I've missed seeing Daniel and Maria there, too. And what a fun way (lol) for you two to be reunited with some puppies in that room! Seriously though, I'm sorry it was under such stressful circumstances, but it was really lovely to see you with these puppers, and to see you with Maria and the pack 💖 It was very kind of you to help your mama and Joey with this!
It was so wonderful of Dan to step in and help his mom with the dogs/puppies! Thanks to him, he and Maria were able to clean the place up and save the puppies. He's a hero. ❤️
Pretty Eyes, you are an angel sent from heaven. Coming to Maria's rescue; cleaning the room and the puppies, and saving them from being outside. You get the award for Hero of the Day! Love seeing you. xxoo
Aww I’m so glad you helped. I felt so bad for not just Maria for having to deal with that, but for Joey too because he let Maria take care of them not knowing the rescue dog wouldn’t like her. I’m not mad at Joey however, and I’m not trying to throw shade. He simply didn’t know that would happen :( I also don’t blame the dog either, she was obviously traumatized by something in her life which is so sad. I read recently online that a lot of dogs born last year during Covid and a lot of dogs that are born recently may unfortunately grow up with a greater chance of separation anxiety. Getting a dog in quarantine means you were there everyday when the dog was growing up, and now you’re going back to work and school for a few hours and the dog isn’t used to that. My cousins got a dog in December 2020 (his name is Teddy) and earlier this year my aunt and uncle started going back to work in person, my cousin went back to school, and my other cousin left for college. For a while Teddy would be in the crate and he’s eventually was allowed to wonder in the house, however when my cousin started school again in September, Teddy would get upset. He’d chew holes in the carpet and break picture frames and chew up the the pictures. He even managed to rip out the entire piece of carpet on one of the stairs landings which is also a triangular step. They now have a baby gate and is doing better 😁 My neighbors also got rescue another puppy named Penny in January 2021 after their last rescue dog Lydia died a month before at the age of 10 of 12. They also have a 3 year old rescue puppy named Crash who survived being hit by a car (hence is name is Crash). And a black cat they rescued at 3 weeks old named Ahab who some little kids separated him from his mom and left him abandoned by her (before she was married) apartment complex. I remember when they got Crash it took over a year for him to be trained and be able to roam around the house. I would sometimes let him out and when I went down stairs there was pee everywhere. Penny’s issue rn is she loves to chew on the TV remotes.
Goodness knows what May has been through in the past, she's safe now with Joey, you and Maria looking out for her and her babes, you are truly the most kind and caring people ❤️
I STAN STAN STAN you and Joey still being able to be there for one another. its so crazy mature and impressive. ( it shouldn't be... should be normal) but thank you for showing that love can be hard, but if it was ever true than you should always be able to care about those people even after breakups!
You are awesome! What an amazing friendship you & Joey have! I wish more people could be like you! You did amazing! It may be she got scared of new people. She didn’t understand you & your mom are there to help her & the babies! You & your mom did amazing! Thank you for helping & giving mama comfort to know she was safe ❤️
It's truly amazing to watch you and Joey become friends again. I've never really had an ex that I could still be friends with, so I admire that about you guys. Thank you for caring about those puppers too ❤️
Daniel you are such a peach, the fact that you went over and handled that is just beyond what most would do. It’s obvious the mess of things is the lack of you being there. And with everything that just happens with dash I’m so sorry you had to deal with this. Your everything and I hope Joey appreciates you!! Xo
Daniel you have not done anything wrong you are so good with animals, your mom is wonderful too, l feel so sorry for her being afraid l have never seen her so wary of a dog before, though it was good to see her.Stay safe and have a nice day.
Your mom is just the sweetest thing, I love her so much! 🥰 I've totally gone through very similar overwhelming situations where I literally just broke down and cried cuz I didn't know what to do. Eventually I got it done but I had to calm down before I could even think of a plan. And these situations alway happen when you're so tired and all you want is to go to bed. It's not a fun situation. Daniel, you're so sweet for helping your mom out. She really has just such a caring, gentle heart 🥰
That would be overwhelming for anyone. This could be a stretch but I wonder if Wolfy picked up on May not taking so well to Daniel's mom and felt protective over her.
I hope you are feeling better. I was so so so worried about you! Btw November's markings white eyebrows are like omg I just can't take it. Love watching and always praying for you
Daniel, you are amazing! I really mean it. You saved the day and your organizational skills are impressive. You left that house and those puppies in great shape after Mama May did her thing. Mama May seemed more stable after you left and I agree she needs some sort of training. She needs to know how to be a house dog. The puppies are sooo cute! Even Joey said the same thing you said, he felt red reminded him of red. Those pups blow me away how close they are and how sweet they are going to be. So glad you stopped by to help the babies.
Just a side note, but it always amazes me how well behaved all your dogs are! I watch a lotttt of dog videos (and had my own who passed away last year) and yours always seem on the more chill/well behaved side. Anyway, thanks for doing this and sharing!
Daniel you and mom are the best! I've been subbed to Joey for puppy stuff and low key lurked your content for a while but you've won me over with your compassion and empathy ❤ . May must have been terrified of something in the house to act out like that. She literally had the sh💩t scared out of her!
You are fantastic with the puppies and also it is refreshing to see such a caring person. I love that you and Joey are still a big part of each other’s life. Your mom is sweet. Keep up the good work…
It’s so great to see that you and Joey can still be such great friends even after the breakup. It’s so sad to see all the drama online over RU-vid breakups. It’s great to see how you and Joey have handled it. Love you guys ❤️
Ms Maria making that "tunnel" system for May (& for Maria's own life!). I also do wonder if Lavvy gurl (Dash) was sending you a sign through the new puppy. Big hugs Daniel 💕
I wonder if Joey knows he should be making sure March gets enough nip time, I think dogs typically only have 8-10 nipples so he might not be getting as much as the others! Sometimes they need formula as a supplement in these large litters.
Miss momma actually ATE HER WAY out of Joey’s window I mean she’s a lil street mama. But I love her spirit! It will take her a while but she will learn. She will make a great doggie for someone one day.
She has husky energy and she’s being left alone constantly. She probably just wants company. She has diarrhea from eating the puppies poop, it’s quite common.
Not to mention all the dairy she's been getting. I love that he rescued her and gave her a safe place to become a mommy, but huskies need a lot of activity, a lot of play time, and a lot of attention. Also, leaving her so soon after she formed a bond with him and just had babies is hard for me to watch. As someone who has worked with puppies and raised many dogs, y'all please don't foster if you're not able to 100% commit to the enormous amount of time and energy taking on that task requires (particularly when the dog wasn't raised in a safe and stable environment).
@@intothevoid3719 I mean Joey works from home so he's constantly around her and the only time that he leaves is when he has to get something from the store he has much more time around the dogs than any normal human being that works ever has because he works from home unlike most of us Joey has the perfect amount of time to take care of multiple dogs I don't even have that much time and have four dogs. I'm only at home two days of the week and the rest I'm working for 8 hours. I don't get the luxury of taking them out places because I myself don't even get that luxury besides buying groceries at Walmart.
@@intothevoid3719 I agree partially with your comment. I've rescued many animals myself. You can't tell a foster parent to stop working. A normal foster family funds their temporary pet through their employment. It is not selfish to leave the animals. The only thing that should have been done differently is who took care of May. Obviously she is suffering from separation anxiety. A trained professional would have the skill set to handle the situation. Otherwise Joey did not purposefully put May or her puppies in harms way.
@@blackwidow8412 I don't recall at any point implying that he put anyone in harms way. Going to work is one thing, going out of town when you don't absolutely have to so soon after bonding with a dog who just gave birth, is another thing entirely. His job isn't the job of the everyday person, let's not pretend that it is. I have a lot of respect for him and watching him rescue/foster these animals, I thought I made that pretty clear.
I swear you guys are literal gems. I immediately would have quit when all that popped off😂😂😂. I love you all so much. The fact you both have been able to maintain this relationship is goals❤️❤️. PS I’m so in love with January 💗
Aww, Daniel… you and your Mama are the absolute sweetest! You both did such a great job of looking after the puppies and managing Mama May. Joey is very fortunate to have such amazing support from you both. ❤️ 🐶
You are such a sweetheart for doing this.. mama May's messy shitstorm did look traumatic! Joey is very lucky to have you and Maria in his corner. As for the puppers.. I still can't get over how much February (red) looks like Lark's puppy Red/Shadow! And the similar very blue eyes SHOCKING. xo
It was really great to see your mom. She's such a sweetheart Daniel I wish I could hug❤ her. You are a great friend to help Joey out and well your mom really needed the help there too. Love you all and all the doggies and puppies.❤🐶🐕🐶🐕🐶🐕🐶🐕🐶❤
You and Joey should get some DNA kits (for mom, and then one for the babies) to see what their breeds are! Not that it matters obviously, but it'd be super cool to know what they *could* be!
Actually, fun fact, puppies from the same litter can have multiple fathers so if he tested one it wouldn’t necessarily mean that all the puppies were of that breed as well.
Oh my gosh the puppies are so cuteeeee. They're so precious now that they've opened their eyes and are walking around! I just feel bad for poor mama May, she must have been so confused and stressed out when Joey left 😢 I think January and December are my favorites because they look like little polar bears 😍 But November is also up there because that's my birth month 😜
I just have to tell you that you are so sweet to take over Joey's responsibilities with the puppies. I kind of think it was not so nice of him to take in the Momma and her puppies and then head out of town....unless it was an emergency trip...he should have stayed home. But you were thoughtful and you are a great son and friend!!!
So he’s supposed to put his life on hold? Be grateful he’s even doing this. I don’t see you rescuing pregnant mothers and taking care of all their puppies. Dumbassss.
@@Shogufazzz you cannot see ME doing anything....I am not a part of your world. But to be honest, I have taken in many animals and assumed the responsibility. It is akin to having a child and then sending it to boarding school while you go on vacation. You might want to grow up and stop name calling.
You're so sweet taking care of the puppies for all the good that you do and the good karma that you put out there it's going to come back to you a million times more positive energy and good things will happen thank you for being you and thank you for being so kind-hearted
The 2 most unproblematic ppl on YT being great exes. I really love how yous help each other! The pups are so cute 🥰♥️ love you Daniel PS Maria your an angel 😇🧡
I'm so happy that you cleaned the place! I'm pretty sure the mama dog is stressed out. One thing, I think all the diarrhea is due the watery food mixture that she's been eating. Maybe some dry food might help with that. She will drink water separately when she gets thirsty. Its really great that you are able to help out. Your Mother did a great job at cleaning also, and making the "maze"
Ok but why is everyone trashing Joey like 75 percent or higher of the comments are all trashing him. Like why? He rescued them and is doing the best he can and has been using the advice of the vets.
OMG Daniel, that room!!! What happened to the bed? It’s gone. Joey is REALLY lucky to have you and Maria. Mama May needs some serious one on one training or she is just really stressed that Joey is gone. You have such a huge heart. ❤️ Also love how you put the descriptions in when weighing them. Love the little extra effort you put it. It makes the video.
I imagine Joey either decided to remove the bed before he left to ensure it didn't get damaged or pooped on, or Daniel and his mom removed the bed because it got damaged and/or diarrhoea. I was also surprised to see the bed gone!
i remember joey saying that it was unsafe for the puppies to be on the bed as may used to feed them up there: he probably moved it so the pups were safer
Oh my god!! Joey doesn’t normally show the mess and destruction the dogs/puppies make 😕. Why doesn’t he keep them in the garage like before? I wonder if he’ll foster again after this 🤣🤣😉
he has shown the door and windows being chewed up. the rest of the mess was a result of him leaving and the mama freaking out from unfamiliar people being there.
