You have to respect the fact that this guy is going through the hassle of learning hindi for the sake of trying to stop these scammers. This dude is a legend.
I got my 81 y/o mother to start watching ur channel. She likes this one and the other guy that pretends to be an old lady. Today she received a call from a scammer pretending to be from Amazon. She listened to his lie for a few mins. She then told him that she watches RU-vid and knows that he's a scammer. Thanks
As an Indian I am happy you are doing this. It's garbage like this that give good, hard working Indians a bad name. Keep it up man! You got a new subscriber today.
Don't worry, everyone knows that for every scum bag like this there are hundreds of hard working Indians, many in science, IT and medicine....yeah and their parents who own 7-11's and gas stations, Indian restaurants, oh and my favorite gorgeous Bollywood actresses. Oh and Kevin, I'm not even Asian.
Hey man I’m an Indian and knowing that these idiots live in my country, I feel very shameful. You’re doing a great job Pierogi!!!! Keep it up man 😎👍. Hindi is actually a tough language to learn unless it’s your mother tongue or you have genuine Indian accent. You’re doing great at it. Let’s get all these idiots! You a HERO for real!!!
Don't be ashamed, you aren't connected to these people by anything other than the country you live in. I'm not ashamed of scammers that live in Canada, I'd just be very glad to see them behind bars. Good news is that in the scambaiting community, it seems to just be general knowledge that yeah, the majority of Indians hate these scammers with a passion as well. I don't think anyone likes their country getting a bad reputation because of criminals.
Those guys don’t usually pay close attention to what’s being said to them. Much conversation goes completely over their head. EXCEPT when it hits really close to home. You know you’ve struck a nerve when they go silent, listen, don’t interrupt, or hang up. You know he worried the rest of the day, probably couldn’t concentrate. Loved this one!
Bro...thank you so much for assisting with Mark Rober's glitter bomb effort to get the money back for those old ladies. Your the man!!! I hope the authorities can use you for their operations...seriously.
I love how he just stayed on the call silently listening. He's probably scared beyond belief. I wonder if he ever did go back to work the next day. I bet the whole building just evacuated for a couple days. LMAO.
@@fatalshore5068 I wish he was more specific and said something like "we've got someone in your office who is actually a cop" that would have scared them shitless
A LOT of work behind-the-scenes goes into this. Countless hours of research and compiling information about each call center happens in order to be able to do this. Massive respect to Pierogi and team.
Man with Indian accent: “Hello sir, my name is John Smith from Global Tech Support.” Man with American accent: “Oh hello, this is Srinivasa Ramuanujan, what seems to be the problem with my computer.”
@@NickPoeschek Oh, I want my friend Randeep to pull this burn SO BAD. He's a Silicon Valley software architect from British Columbia and has a thick Canadian accent. =)
Yeah, I hear that. While I have a low tolerance for pranks and hate to hear of anyone being put into a panic and scared, one has to think of all the times these guys have caused old people to feel the exact same way when they realize they've given away a pile of cash. Pest control, while necessary, is rarely nice or painless for the pests if it's to be effective.
This is criminal psychology at its best. There are videos of criminals post-confession having nervous breakdowns, and ordinarily it would be very difficult to watch someone go through that. But with the power of knowing these people are bad, we're able to detach ourselves from the emotional toll and are able to actually enjoy the discomfort these scammers go through.
I didn't know this was a) a channel or b) such a hilarious concept. I laughed with a jovial bellow. This is fantastic and that huge stretch of silence is just pure put-it-on-repeat material. That guy was SHOOK.
Between you, Jim Browning and Karl Rock, you're all doing great work. Keep it up. My 72 year old Mum had a scammer try it on and when she told him his parents must be so ashamed of him he lost the plot. She hung up but he continued to call her all through the night for weeks swearing and threatening the most awful things you could imagine with the most disgusting language until I answered and told him we'd involved the Australian Federal Police and they were tracking the call. They give Indians a bad name,1.3 billion people but these few ruin the reputation of so many.
@@martinfrostnas6610 Oh dear, your comment says so much about you, your gross generalisations and xenophobia . Are you actually serious? Maybe you should actually talk to some Indian people... You'll soon realise that they have the same mix of great people and dodgy people just like every country does. Thankfully a lot more good than bad.
@@elenawilliams32 I've travelled to lots of places around the world. Our different cultures and ways of doing things just aren't the same. Sure there are decent Indians (everywhere has their good and bad) but regions like the Indian subcontinent do have a high percentage of people willing to do anything for money.
It's wonderful to hear the concern in the scammers voice at the thought they may soon be behind the bars. I would imagine jails in India/Bangladesh are not quite as nice as our "luxury" prisons in the US. However, some of the less intelligent scammers have no fear but will soon find themselves behind the bars, away from their families, a disgrace to their parents and children, and the cause of their loved ones falling deeper into poverty. What a waste of so many lives just for one selfish scammer's greed.
@@waltonsmountain I think that's a great idea. My mother worked in corrections, and high inmates wolf be nice. Animals weren't meant to be in cages, and they get more hostile. On top of that, we need prison reform. A complete overhaul.
Obviously, indian authorities don't give a damn about current scamming situation. So, unfortunately, he won't be behind bars or nowhere near it. Corruption my friend.
Compared to the rest of the modern 1st world our prisons are not "luxury". We're really good at producing career criminals and not very good at actual corrections.
I love that your style of scambaiting scares these scammers more than Kitboga does. He merely wastes their time, white you get them all alarmed and shaking at times. Great job.
I love them ALL the most!! You are a computer genius and instead of using your gift to scam people, you use your time and resources to help!! That makes you a HERO in my book!! Thank you so much for all you do!!
Too much to love. The dead silence as you told his boss's name, the mall on Park Street in Kolkata. He probably ran home, packed his things and left Kolkata as fast as he could.
I just discovered Pierogi and can't stop watching his videos. I also like to commend how much homework he's done before he goes into this 'scamming the scammer' process esp learning all the filthy cursing they shower on him. Kudos !
that cracks me up he suddenly gets quiet and stops trying to talk over you when you start telling him his truth. bet he did not sleep well that night. bet they moved their whole operation that evening based on you hinting at a raid. Good work
My friend's grandma got scammed by these guys. His grandma was so arrogant and never listened to anyone. The moment she was getting scammed, she almost slapped my friend and kept on saying 'I have to pay 4000 dollars to him'. I am not trying to say that elders these days are getting rude but it's a really big issue
This is probably one the best ones, and it's mostly due to the ending. I'm willing to bet that scammer was crapping his pants and freaked out of his mind!
That was indeed excellent. All of your work to undermine these creeps. The ending of that call was particularly good, showing how you understand they are desperate people who work there, doing miserably rotten things, for peanuts.
The total silence is so golden, I could literally feel it as it dawned on him like damn, and him just painfully waiting for you to finish, just brilliant!
"You are not making money but your boss. And deep inside your heart, you hate your job because you are stealing money from other people". His reality bite him, and we know deep inside he was hurt. And I love it when you hit thier inner core. God bless you hon! 😘❤️
@@truealpha7258 I think the solution to this problem is what Pierogi here is doing. If there were hundreds of Pierogis out there, it would make these scammer call centers impossible to run.
New to the channel. But I've been in IT for years so I've heard about too many people and companies being on the wrong end of these scamming POS. What you guys do in turning the tables is AMAZING!
I like how they ask the same question over and over, What's my boss's name? what's my boss's name? what's my boss's name? what's my boss's name? Where am I? where am I? where am I? where am I? They won't shut up and wait for an answer.
LOVE your videos. I actually just had a person call me claiming to be from the Microsoft Security department that I've not been installing the updates they sent me last week. I wanted soooo bad to mess with them but instead I started uncontrollably laughing and couldn't stop. She got mad and hung up before I could have any fun with it. Love what your doing!
Your family must be so proud of you. Thank you for being an advocate and a real life super hero! While many are selfishly coughing on others in the name of freedom, you are patiently walking the vulnerable to safety. My wish for you is peace and love.
funny fact,I had my first scam call in 5 years, but not an 091 (India) number, but a Dutch cellphone number 0031 06...,but she spoke English with an Indian accent.I laughed at first when she told me I was entitled to a refund from Microsoft, then I asked if she knew Vivian Rogers....she HUNG UP!!!shows you are legend!
