I sent coins to PCGS for Grading & THIS HAPPENED! 

All those coins look amazing. Thank you for submitting my coins for me. I greatly appreciate it. The people grading the coins should grade the coins without knowing who submitted it in my opinion.

Grading can be so subjective and seem to vary by a wide margin. That is why I only like to get really expensive coins or ones needing to be genuine graded.

Grading results alway have their ups and downs. Real nice straight graded 42/1 Merc. Thanks for sharing the results!

Theyre following CACG on their strict rulings on cleaned and environmental. If it was three years ago i bet they would have graded fine. I only buy slabs now due to this.

Great video Raven, its always a crapshoot with PCGS. I have had a 49 coin submission in for over 4 months now and counting, they are taking forever on mine.

I sent PCGS a $3 gold piece previously graded MS61 by NGC. It came back an AU58. I was so pissed off I sold it at a loss.

Some really cool graders there (That overdate is killa!)! I'd love to see both of the "genuines" up closer (FE small cent and the SL dime). From plain eye level both look very nice, especially the eagle!!!! Wouldn't a "bent" coin be tough to slab? The PCGS boyz have had a tough time of late following submission orders to the letter. I had that one order where they looked for varieties for ALL my submissions even though I only originally paid for a couple. We eventually came to an agreement that I only pay for the variety desig. for those coins that rated a designation. Keep them honest, brother! That flying eagle looks pretty solid! By the way, I sent a submission to them a month ago and it's still in receiving. Cheers!

Got the 1938-S Oregon Trail in the OLD GREEN SLAB graded MS65!!! Mintage 6,000 Glad to see the same year & mint here. I've only sent a 1998 1oz to NGC and returned a MS67, was hoping for a MS68. I'm happy paid 500 for it, now that it's slabbed at no less than 900+.

Those coins are awesome for what they charge for grading they should send a pic showing where the defects are on each coin just sayin

One area where AI might be of help some how some day. also with CAC fully in the ballpark now keeps things interesting . Wonder if you resubmitted some and they came back higher you could tell them they should be at the higher grade FREE since they made a mistake--brother !!!LOL

MY WHOLE COLLECTION IS NGC

I've always been told to buy the coin and not the holder.Grading is someone's opinion.We all are human and even the experts are wrong.I've also been told that the rarer coins get lesser grades to keep the population reports down.Grading is a doubled edge sword.It's up to the owner if they think grading is worth it.

I been scared send coins to them, alot money if they don't grade out

I got mine back from August of last year , Thier was one that they would not grade (double PLANCHETTE) 1916buffalo from anacs soppose I'd be better off with CAC

Somewhat disappointing

They do grade them without knowledge and a person always thinks there coins are better then what they really are if you really sit and look at those detail coins you will see what they saw just because a coin has luster does not mean it uncirculated many AU coins still have luster the flying cent has a issue and what you have to understand it’s there reputation there putting in that coin so if it’s 96 percent there they won’t grade coin it has to hold it’s own weight also keep in mind there are bunch people that buy detail uncirculated coins crack out and sell raw knowing the coin has a wheel mark or scratch or spot or environmental damage spot and they rip people off then that person sends coin into grading only to get marked for same issue buying raw coins is not easy and not like it used to be most have been picked over
