My daughter turned me onto Robert Cray back in the mid 1980's and I've been in love with him ever since. Baddass blues artist. He don't get the billing he should have been getting. He got some kickass songs out there. Love you Robert; you rock on baby.
This song brings back memories. May my husband rest in peace. On our way to the country in East Texas. Good times good family good food. You tell a lie, I tell a lie and we all have a good laugh 😂
I was listening to Robert Cray in the 80s. I then got into old Delta blues which I still love. I've recently come back to his music and can't believe how good he is. What an underrated talent.
This one brings me back to my dog days of alcoholism. 9 years sober from booze n hardstuff last month. And I still love this song. I saw him play it live 2011 in NYC
I saw Robert Cray a few years back at the Bardavon in Poughkeepsie, NY. Before he played this song he made reference to the weather that evening, and brought the house down with a killer performance of this song! Robert Cray you are the man!
Other than a few that I can remember Robert cray is the best of the bestest. I know that bestest isn't an English word but in European I could say a few words. .may god keep Robert cray alive and well. I refuse to exit this world until I see him in concert. Sure think he is excellent and a humanist. Cares about all of us
One of his best!! Makes my hair stand on end, with goosebumps, not many songs do that to me. Plays the most crisp notes on the planet!!! I saw him in Boston about 12 or so yrs ago opening for Buddy Guy Great Concert!!
Brilliant...Robert and his guitar....👍🎸🎤🥁 I'm so proud that I shook his hand way back when Robert played Glasgow.. I'll never forget that moment..👏👏👏👏👍🏴 wonderful!!!!
I saw him tonight in Tucson and had the good fortune to meet him for the second time and not only is he one of the best guitarist, but his voice range is incredible. He’s also a down to earth gentleman.
One of the rare musicians whose favorite song you like is anything he plays... I've seen some great ones including Stevie Ray in a lil bar in Houston but never been fortunate enough to catch the Cray Band live...on my bucket list!
@@trinidadapodaca7027 Do you like Joe Bonamassa ? If you do he did Rockpalast as a trio with some old band members. Base Drums and Joe. AWESOME ! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EVqsDkyxohE.html At least he gets my vote ! Hope ya like it.
Man, I loved it ... nothing lacking ! They were great ... I didn't care for the base players little devil on his guitar ! I've been listening a lot to Joe Bonamassa and I really like the older guy on piana !
I saw him in San Diego Street Scene. When he played this song, we all lost it. It was so hot, and everyone was feeling frisky, they needed to hose us down. Good memory with my Boo!
Thank you for properly calling this Modern Blues. I'm a purist when it comes to traditional and the greats of Blues, but there are many hot players today. Robert Cray is top on that list. And Clapton when he does a Blues number can show you how it's done.
"I Shiver" I get the blues in the morning. So bad, I scare myself My hair is turning gray so fast, I'm worried about my health, And I shiver all over, I shiver all over, I shiver all over, 'Cause I ain't got you! Mmmmm... I'm burning with a fever. My stomach's twisted up in knots. My blood's pressure is up so high I know it's gonna stop my heart. And I shiver all over, I shiver all over, I shiver all over, 'Cause I ain't got you! Mmmmm... I've got spots all over my body, I wear shades 'cause my eyes are red I've got a headache that just won't go away. It's a wonder that I'm not dead. I've got spots all over my body, I wear shades 'cause my eyes are red I've got a headache that just won't go away. It's a wonder that I'm not dead. My doctor looked at my condition, He said oh, Bob you look a mess There ain't a thing I can do about you But, you sure can use a lot of rest. And I shiver all over, I shiver all over, I can't even sleep at night, 'Cause I ain't got you! Mmmmm... I ain't got you! No! No, no no no No, no no no No, no no no, I shiver all over,
